wonderful beach of hotel

STRUCTURE: consists of a main building and several separate blocks. I was in the furthest block despite my request for main. Meant walking ~5mins everyday to and from main building for breakfast, MOSQUITOS: room wasn’t sprayed or wasn’t sprayed well Had to dispose of several mosquitoes myself upon 1st night. Was still bitten many times by mosquito discovered on my bed. (I hadn’t even open the balcony door) BED: A double bed is actually two singles pushed together. This easily separates / forms a long dip down the centre making sleep awkward. PAPER THIN WALLS: peace and quiet depends on who is next to you. You can hear the details of every conversation if they speak s little loud and if you understand their language. ROOM SERVICE: expensive and poor quality. Paid 22.50 euro for a small bowl of cold chips, bottle of water and glass of juice. This includes an 8 euro service charge. Seems unfair to pay this charge since I don’t want to walk 10 mins in the middle of the night to the main bar for it.

like staying at hotels because they provide a comfortable and convenient place to stay when I'm away from home. The beds are usually very comfortable, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, and there's often a variety of amenities available such as room service or fitness centers. Walk distance from the beach, breakfast amazing and dinner. Plus, it's nice to have someone else take care of all the details so that I can just relax during my stay.

I did not particularly enjoy breakfast. I am probably being much here because on the surface it was pretty decent. I would have like a tad bit more variety in terms of options, because just really fatty bacon, scrambled eggs and sausages was just a bit boring everyday, so if you could spice it up and just add some more options.

I absolutely loved the room, probably the biggest room I have ever stayed in, anywhere that I have gone to. The pool was area was really neat and it was just so cozy. The walk to the beach was literally 500m and it was everything I as looking for on my stay. The location is about 12 minutes drive to The Old Town and the bus service is really useless. I would recommend using Bolt, it was absolutely brilliant, our trips to Old Town were around 5 - 6 euros, the day we used a hotel transfer to go to The Marina, it was 14 euros so don't bother with the hotel transfer. Old Town is absolutely amazing and do hold your ground the restaurants will try to be pushy in wanting you to get in. All in all, a great trip. I will surely be back.

The pool is not heated.

Staffs were professional and friendly. They have a safe storage where they stored our luggage as we arrived before the check-in time. We were able to see the old and new town while waiting for our rooms to be ready. Customer service at desk was amazing. They called us once our room is ready and they upgraded our room to suite with a huge balcony. The housekeeping our brilliant. Our room is really nice and clean, they cleaned our room every day. The food is amazing, lots of variety every day and well cooked. Has a private access, a wooden pathway going to the beach. A perfect place for relaxation and tranquility. We enjoyed our stay. Obrigado!

We had truly wonderful time in this hotel. Since we traveled off season the hotel was not fully booked, we were lucky to get room update to Junior Suite with pool view. Thank you! The room was very spacious with comfortable bed and big bathroom. The view from our room was stunning and we really enjoyed it! We also tried hotel´s spa with finish sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and gym. Gym is spacious but not well equipped when you want to lift some weights, but this is usually common issue of hotel´s gyms. Luckily the weather was Ok and we could do a lot of walking on the beach and walking trails. The breakfast buffet was very nice with plenty of delicious options even if you are on a diet. Dinner was also very nice served as 4 course menu. Location is great with beautiful beach where you even can find some restaurants. Walking by the beach or by walking trails you can get to town Armacao de Pera, takes about 30 -40 minutes. There is also a supermarket nearby hotel where you can get in 5 minutes.

Lake of entertainment and no alternative Resturant

Liked most things about hotel but have one negative point with the location of the hotel I feel had there been some entertainment it would mean that we did not have to travel out each night plus with the hotel complex as big as it is if there was a alternative Resturant that could be used woul also add to the whole hotel stay

Bottled water is a precious item, it is charged 6£ a bottle, luckily there is a supermarket 5 minutes from the hotel. Coffee pods in the room are charged 1£ each after consuming the only two provided.

The room had a gorgeous view to the sea. The landscape was very well kept. Love the palm trees! The bed and pillows were ultra comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. Anna was there to greet us when we lunched the first day, and for breakfast the following day. Anna is a great assett for you. She genuinely cares about the guest experience and strives to be personable and make one feel very welcome.

The hotel bar lacks abit of ambiance.. the food there is very good though and the staff very friendly - but feels abit canteen like - not so cosy..

Fantastic location with great views and walks. The family room was huge - fantastic space and great to have large showers for the kids Breakfast was extensive and staff very attentive..

Great staff, busy but excellent breakfast buffet and an amazing location. Travelled with our 2 year old - large room, great balcony, safe, garage parking. Weather didn't help at all so we could not try the pools, or the Sun really... Definetly a place to revisit next Summer :)

I found it very loud inside the building , and was happy I had earplugs. I was also missing a water kettle, but otherwise it is a great place to stay.

I loved the balcony and sea view as well as the little paths to the beach. The pool area is well done as well. The massage at the spa was great.

This property was amazing! So peaceful and calm and beautiful. Within a short easy walk down a boardwalk to the beach. The room was spacious and just perfect. The staff were incredible helpful and kind. Loved it here and will definitely be back!!

Everything about the stay was very nice, staff very attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very nice and staff were always filling up the food and drinks. Just bear in mind that the double bed is actually two small beds put together.

The sofa bed was way too firm. And the ventilation fan in the bathroom/shower did not work.

The location and the view from the room was fantastic. The size of the suite was way bigger than expected. Breakfast buffet was great with many options to choose from.

I booked a sea view suite. Was given a suite in the furthest building (6) with a side sea view . Room service fee of £8 is too much! Quality of the room service food is not exceptional in line with the price.

My hotel room phone kept disconnecting so I was unable to communicate with the reception effectively, although I called them once and got connected, after that it kept disconnecting and I had no service in the room to call them for room service in the later evening when I couldn't be bothered to walk to the reception but I didn't find it a big deal. Easy to get to the marina in a taxi but found it longer to get to the strip where most clubs where.. However this is still not a big deal if you are driving a rental or have a uber budget..

The staff were absolutely amazing, very professional and welcoming. The food was excellent and the hotel over all is clean and well kept Loved the fact that the beach was allocated close by and the view from my room even though I was on the ground floor was amazing. The waiters and waitresses were extremely pleasant. Everything about my stay was pleasant so I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. For anyone that doesn't want to get uber everywhere although reasonable at times, I found it extremely easy to make my way to old town/the marina etc on the bus number 7 which you can get directly outside of Regency Salgados for €2.60. It was a very easy walk to get to the stop from the hotel, the bus number 7 takes you all over Portugal but I would suggest planning your trip via Google maps first.

The property was very clean and modern, so spacious and not crowded. I stayed in a junior suite and the room and balcony were a great size. I enjoyed a varied and plentiful breakfast each morning. The resort was well maintained and a short walk to the beach via accessible wooden walkways. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the server who welcomed me into the restaurant every morning (I am sorry I have forgotten his name but he was from South America). I very much enjoyed my stay.
