This hotel feels like a 5 star luxury hotel: amazing staff, they were very friendly and helped us navigate the city, gave great recommendations for sights, food and shopping. The room felt very new and extremely clean, the breakfast was great as well. Location was superb. Would definitely recommend and return!

There isn’t anything I didn’t like about the property, but it is worth noting if you are taking a cab to the hotel make sure the cab driver has a license to drive into the old town or else you will have to be dropped off around the corner from the hotel. We had no problem finding taxis with the license to drop us off right at the front door.

This hotel is a two minute walking from the waterfront. There you will find cafés, entertainment, boats that will take you up and down the Douro River. The front desk staff, Luna, Ricardo and Pedro are all very helpful. Anything you need they can help you find it or get it. The breakfast is amazing pastries, breads, fruit, hot dishes, meats, cereals, you name it they have it, including plant-based milks. The outside of the hotel looks like old town Porto, but the inside is completely remodeled with modern amenities

Absolutely Nothing

The location is excellent, a few steps from the Douro and an easy walk into the historical city.The entire staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to accommodate you.They are helpful with directions, self guided walking tours, and restaurants. The breakfast rivals any top rated hotel. Breakfast includes eggs,bacon,breads,meats,pastries,yogurt, and more with changes in variety each day. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. This boutique hotel is a real gem. We rate it 5 stars!!!

Our superior double room was on a bit smaller side. Since we stayed only one night and we were out and about most of the time, it wasn't an issue.

The staff was very responsive about our inquiries before our trip and gave us excellent advice. Every staff was very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a glass of Porto wine which was nice. The location of the hotel is excellent because most of the well visited tourist spots are within our walking distance. The breakfast included variety of fresh fruits and restocked frequently. Cold food such as ham, cheese, salami, yogurt and hot food such as scrambled egg, beacon, were available. Different types of bread and sweats were also served as a buffet style. The room had a good soundproof.

Lighting in bathroom could be better - but that was common everywhere we stayed in PT.

This was our favourite hotel in 2 weeks of travel in Portugal. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and engaging. Breakfast was delicious. We will stay at this boutique hotel again and would highly recommend to others.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. For a small hotel there was a lot of variety at breakfast, including pastries, some cooked items, bread, cheese, meats, veg, fruit, yoghurts. Some items also changed each day so it didn’t get boring.

There was nothing negative.

The hotel was very well situated for exploring this interesting city and despite being close to the busy river front was very quiet. All the staff were excellent, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room facilities were of a very high standard. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. There are many restaurants close by.
