Should advise that the nearest metro station is Arroios. I was directed to the Alameda station which was much further away.

The suite doors were hard to use.

Valué was excellent, good location. Free WiFi. The suite doors were difficult to use but we finally got the hang of it. We felt very secure though! One of the bathrooms shower backed up but they cleaned up right away and I just used the other shower from then on with no issues. They stored our luggage before and after our stay so we could sight see! Staff was great!!!

Great location, very close to the metro. Very quiet at night. Good security and nice staff. We had the three bedroom apartment on the top floor. Two of the bedrooms were small but it all worked really well for a stay for a small group. Everything worked and we were comfortable.

The hotel was not in a particularly nice section of the main road.

The location was excellent. Just across the road from a very good Portuguese restaurant and very close to a metro stop and groceries.

On my last morning of my stay there were works from around 7am which made it impossible to get back to sleep which was very frustrating. Also, when I had checked out I kindly asked if they could store my backpack. The girl at the front said they had no more space but then another couple came out asked the same thing and she said it was fine which was very frustrating as I then had to pay for a Bounce.

Only negative arriving at 1am, only sign of the accommodation was a plaque on the building and walking up the stairs to reception on 3rd floor was disconcerting. Needn't have worried.see above.

The surroundings were a bit disappointing. I saw some weird people drinking and speaking loudly on the street, they weren't speaking Portuguese or English, it appears as if they were arguing. The taxist said that area wasn't the same as years ago, so I'm not sure if it isn't safe or something else. The street door locks after 11 pm, so I felt a bit concerned getting there after the that time after seeing the surroundings. It's at 30min walk from the city center, so not exactly walking distance considering the ups and downs in the city.

Clean and comfortable. The property looks pretty well maintained and the bed is great. We spend 1 night only, so I was pretty happy with the overall place. The staff was also nice!

The frosted sliding door to our private bathroom but that's just my personal preference. It looked stylish but I'd prefer to have a regular door there for more privacy.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice the accommodation was. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and we even had our own private balcony. We got a good night's sleep and caught the nearby metro to go to the airport the next morning. Very convenient location for us.
