Parking can be a problem but we managed OK. Some guidacne on parking in the folder would be useful.

It is very central to the city.

I could only stand upright in a few places in the apartment. I am 1,86m tall - so not exceptionally tall. I think it should be stated in the advert that the apartment has a low roof in places. When we got to the apartment, we noticed that there were only 3 knives (we were 4 people). I contacted the host, who then brought another knife. Later the same evening we noticed that there were only 3 spoons as well. Such a basic thing...

Mattress and blanket were both very thin. An upgrade to the bedding and mattress would make a huge difference in the quality of stay. Enjoyable stay aside from the stiff backs.

Great spot to explore everything on foot Coimbra has to offer. Close to cafes, groceries, and not a far walk to the university, botanical gardens and more. Very grateful for the air conditioner in the bedroom! Also grateful for the washing machine and dry rack. Thoughtful little kitchen with supplies we were able to cook from home our few nights there. Bedroom window has shutters so you can make it extra dark.

Air Con was very noisy - and made weird noises for a long time after being switched off; so we weren’t too inclined to use it. Street outside is cobbled - so can be far from quiet. First night there were a lot of motorcycles clattering past until early hours.

Reasonably well situated to use as a base to explore Coimbra. Uphill and steps from Station and no lift. Not a problem for us - but be aware if there’s heavy bags to haul. There as an amusing moment when we opened the door to the apartment and could only find bathroom and kitchen. Door had blocked the entrance to the bedroom! This is an apartment to use as somewhere to eat and sleep as opposed to spending time in relaxing. That’s just fine if you’re planning on exploring Coimbra!

Self service checkin. We did struggle a few times to open the doors with the app. If you don’t have access to Internet, I am not sure how checkin would work. Not everybody has Internet on vacation. 3rd floor apartment, no lifts.

The location was good, close walk to the historical University. Close walk down to the riverside. The surrounding street was alive with live performances in the evening, it was so nice to go out and just walk about. Very nice and modern apartment. It jar everything we needed.

    - Crib was less comfortable for the baby than other accommodations we’ve stayed at in Portugal - Very thin walls on the first floor where you hear everyone going up & down the stairs and the unit above is extremely loud - Patio is not private (you can high five the neighbor you’re so close)

    - Central location in Coimbra close to the university - Newly renovated apartment - Very clean - Friendly host - Digital locks for building and apartment

The bed was pretty firm - not lumpy or anything, just a bit too firm. We could have used an easy chair, although space was limited so maybe not. Dishes and flatware had 2 of all eating utensils. That is a bit limited, but it worked out okay. I can understand that in some environments, that stuff walks and you get tired of replacing it.

I liked the fact that everything worked, the host was easy to reach if we needed help, that everything was beautifully clean and that there was a washing machine that worked well. If a kitchen is small, a washing machine beats a dishwasher hands down for convenience. Our host was very helpful with showing us on the map where things were. We appreciated that.

The sound travels easily between apartments, this was my only negative from an otherwise very positive experience

Great location just 100m from the town centre with its many restaurants. Just the one night in Coimbra for us, en-route back from Porto to Lisbon, it is a nice little town, very scenic and plenty to see. The apartments are clearly brand new and therefore are spotlessly clean. Ultra convenient for the centre of town and all it has to offer, parking just down the road in the car park at just 9€ for 24H. The owner was there to meet us to show us in and explain the APP controlled door locks (nice touch, new to me). The apartment has everything you need for a short stay, clean and well presented, AC, hot water a plenty. Functional little apartments perfectly suited to short stays. Excellent value for money

(Just minor details: The view from the top apartment is very nice but only visible when you step close to the window. Under the roof you often have to watch your head and/or choose the right side of the bed and table :-))

The upper apartment is very clean and nicely renovated with a modern kitchen and airco, great beds and quiet. The location is right in the middle of some of the most important things to visit (and comes with a steep but rather short climb). Very friendly and hospitable welcome and everything you need on your first day is available. Paid parking quite close, and free indoor parking at 1,2km (Convent San Francisco).

There was no wardrobe in bedrooms. We didn't really need it for one night stay but could be comfortable for longer stays.

Clean and comfortable apartment with amazing location in city center. Disinfection in every floor. Well equipped, coffee machine and coffee capsules provided, same as tea. Easy unlocking system through the application.

This isn’t a negative, but rather an FYI… While you can drive up to the apartment to unload your bags, you cannot drive father and you’ll need to turn around and go back to either park on the street with the paid meter or in the close Mercado parking lot.

The apartment was well appointed, clean, and walking distance to all of the old town. The communication was excellent and prompt! Would highly recommend a stay here!

The place is relatively small, the kitchen is not well equipped, the water heater catches a lot of space in the kitchen such that the utensils were placed under the TV. Also the kitchen is very small such that you cannot plug more than one appliance at the time. Lack of some of the basic amenities (not enough dish soap, no sugar, etc). The A/C is very noisy and kept me up at night as the noise goes off every 30 seconds (and when it is 40 degrees in Coimbra you definitely need it). The host said is it due to the evacuation pump or in other words there was nothing to do about it. In one of the apartments the shower's door was mounted in the wrong way such that getting in and out was a nightmare. The place is not very functional overall. The check in was cumbersome as need to fill in the full details of all attendees via a Google form (including all passport details), and so was the check out as we were asked to leave cash (and only cash) for the tourist tax. Overall a disappointing stay especially when put in relation to the expensive price of the night

The apartment is very well located not far from the university and the Praça do Comercio. Beds were relatively comfortable and the air conditioning worked well

Amazing property, central location, close to food, shopping and all the major site seeing. Easy to walk to, safe and the bonus is there is a small chapel across from the apartment that hosts Fado singers every night starting at 8pm. I highly recommend this property. Hosts were great with communication and super helpful.

Parking was 10 euro per day and 200 yards away. Had to feed the meter each morning. Directions were unclear and not accurate on google so we got very lost on tint medieval streets. Host should work harder on providing maps

location is excellent between the main tourist area and the old town and college. First impression of the apartment was poor but we discovered everything we needed was there. Kitchen well equipped and knifes sharp. Good bed and clean.
