Excellent breakfast selection, both cooked and fresh fruit. Fantastic roof terrace with the best views in Faro, perfect for an afternoon sundowner watching the sunset. Really friendly staff, would recommend this hotel for couples, probably not ideally suited for children, very central location right next to the old town area.

As our flight was early morning I had arranged a takeaway breakfast for the second morning. The reception called my room at 10:15pm the evening before to check the takeaway breakfast requirement. As I was getting up at 3:30am, hence the reason for a takeaway, I had an early night and the call woke me up. The breakfast bag itself was disappointing as it consisted only of a small cheese and ham filled croissant, an apple and a carton of juice.

Amazing choice for breakfast, everything you could want. Staff super friendly and helpful, roof terrace was lovely, room was clean and comfortable. All facilities were well maintained.

The food and drinks were a bit pricey but I suppose because it is a hotel.

The beds were very comfortable, the roof top bar was very nice but could get very windy. It is called hotel and beach club but there is no beach nearby.

Room although quiet was unexciting No chance of a balcony . lift … getting it understood had its problems

Absolutely adored the breakfast and its situation in the building Loved the view of all from there Loved relaxing pre dinner outside with G and T and then leaving there for meals in various restaurants cafes nearby .Staff very attentive Good. Enjoyed the roof pool and the steps in and out of it! Loved closeness to train station so took various short trips to Albufiera,Tamira and Olhao

The evening menu was limited and was acceptable but not exceptional.

The breakfast was really good with a large variety of foods. As self service this represented a good value for money. The room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, friendly and caring.

As usual the air conditioning unit was a bit too noisy. It seems most central air conditioning units in most hotels were not designed to reduce noise thus an annoying hum or sound while sleeping is what one must often anticipate with most hotels.

Supper was very good. Breakfast buffet was a solid OK but the menu never changed. If you purchased breakfast and dinner you received a upgraded menu for supper. Very few clients had opted for the pre-paid supper included thus we received a very good menu offering every evening. Food was above what one might expect because it was NOT a supper buffet offering. Suppers were the highlight of our stay.

Poor seal on shower made getting water all over the floor unavoidable. But plenty of towels to mop up with.

Noisy. Both nights was awakened by people partying then large celebration 2nd night with fireworks, horns etc b/c of futbol win which went on till almost 1:00am-we had a 4:00am airport pickup so very little sleep when we had a long day of travel. Also need more staff on rooftop. Staff hard to find, did not come get drink orders each time we were there till we went in to order from bar for ourselves.

Unclear instructions about reaching the beach. Rooftop bar/restaurant staff tended to avoid communicating with me. Coffee at breakfast wasn’t to my taste.

Smelly/moldy room. Management needs to address this anomaly.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff at the breakfast club were all superb. The rooftop setting was a huge plus. Drinks were reasonably priced but the fixed price Dinner was too costly for the limited menu. Room 312 had a moldy smell that resulted in headaches for us. Had to keep the window open for a bit of relief. In addition the safe was locked when we entered the room on April 28. I alerted the front desk the next morning but no action was taken by the time we checked out on Thursday May 1st. Also it’s a misnomer to advertise as a Beach Club when the location to the Beach is not accesible on foot.
