Comfortable apartment in the midst of a plain full of storks flamingos and other birds. Perfect for morning and evening walks with our dog. Very near the beautiful towns of Faro and Olhao and not too far from Tavira Made a one day trip to Sagres an a stop in Alvor and Sines

Nothing to dislike here.

Peace and tranquility but close to everything. The children loved the dogs and horses. Pedro was extremely welcoming and attentive. Loved the free bikes and table tennis. Kids barely used their devices which was the best part! Highly recommend for anyone seeking some relaxation away from the crowds of Faro.

Very peaceful location with lovely walks, cows, horses and amazing waterfowl to view. If with a car ( or happy to take a bus) easy to visit Faro and Tavira. Pedro was especially helpful and all the staff were friendly.

Not a thing.

This is the most gorgeous, perfectly Algarvian place ever! I want to move in! The rooms were perfect, with everything you could possibly ask for. The decor was lovely, and outside, the facades and pool were just stunning. On a working farm, it was a delight to have dogs, cows and birds all around us. I cannot fault this place at all, and we will most definitely be back! Pedro was the perfect host -- as friendly as can be! Thank you!

In the apartment everything is quite old and not in great shape. Forget to cook anything, the whole kitchen accessories are pretty cheap and if you try you will have some issues. We spend only the nights inside but it would be nice to be more comfortable.

The concept is nice, you come in the properties like this to relax and to enjoy in the nature. Also there are table tennis, darts, bicycles - not in great condition but you can use it. Also there are animals - cows and horses to enjoy with them or to ride if you want. The owner Pedro is super helpful.

That I couldn't stay longer!

Loved the marsh land estuaries, the walks, farm animals and distance from town. I felt I could be in two kinds of Portugal on one trip. The smells and the vast sky scenery were a beautiful rural experience. I would recomend a car but being solo and fit I enjoyed the walk to the main road, getting the bus into Faro or getting a Bolt service. It was simply lovely and peaceful.

We would recommend having a hire car as it is very much out of the way here. There is a seafood restaurant and an all you can eat Chinese within walking distance, but aside from that there isn’t a shop or supermarket. We made use of Uber which is very cheap and quick. An Uber to Faro is around €6.50 and arrives within 5 minutes, so it’s not an issue. We went to Faro twice, Olhão and Loule via Uber - also for our trip to and from the airport. Personally we like being off the beaten track, and not in the thick of the tourist areas and if that’s the case you will love it here!

We had such a lovely stay here. Pedro’s hosting is second to none! He met us with the warmest of smiles, and a welcome tour of what he could show us in the dark. Throughout our stay we asked for a few things (whether my son could come and join us for a few days, extra towels for my son, how to work the washing machine, details of a takeaway that delivered to Herdade) and everything was always without issue, and quick responses! Pedro is honestly the most incredible host, but perfect as he also very much leaves you to your own devices and is not at all intrusive. He also came down to see us as we left, and this just felt so personal. We stayed in Flamingo, which is the middle apartment. The facilities are great. The kitchen is well equipped, we managed to cook every day. The bed was comfortable, and there are plenty of extra blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. Lots of hangers and drawers available for clothing. There is a dining table in the kitchen, a picnic bench in the back garden/terrace area, and a small table out the front of the apartment - so plenty of places to choose where you eat. The pool area is lovely, my son went in, but it was a bit cold for me and my partner so we just dipped our feet 😂 The weather was great at around 27 everyday! We made use of almost all of the facilities whilst here. The BBQ was great, with plenty of space. My partner cooked on there and it was delicious! Again, Pedro offered him help which was super kind. We played ping pong quite a lot, it’s a great past time and had us laughing like kids! There is a great coffee machine with pods in the communal area which is only 50 cents a go, there are also a few picnic benches, and a huge fridge freezer here (there are ice packs in this freezer which a very helpful to keep your drinks cool when you head out). Then you’ll find the bikes, there are a few different options, we chose the ones with the big comfortable seats and they were perfect!

We liked it all.

Amazing location, very comfortable place, great atmosphere, everything was exactly how we wanted it to be. A strong hot shower, comfortable bed, everything we needed in the kitchen area and a lovely pool.. A bit cold for me but my partner managed to swim in it! The wildlife was amazing and the walks we did were great!

Really beautiful and quiet place, only a 10 min by car from the center of Faro. We really enjoyed our stay and Pedro the owner was great! No issue with communication and was always available! We will definitely go back here if we come to faro again!

it’s a horse farm and as such it gives you a very distinct relaxed atmosphere. you don’t hear the noise of restaurants and people on the streets passing by. Just the neighing of the horses and the birds in the early morning.

Everything was good !

If you want calm time near to the beach, it is the place to go. We enjoyed all the equipment (swimming pool, ping pong, bike..) in this natural place. We are not so far from the beach and faro. The apartment is fully equiped and clean.

Flys was too much. But we manage 😊. No near by supermarket, restaurant or cafes. But Uber was cheap to transport around.

Very relax n positive atmosphere. The wife n the kids loved it. Dogs n cats there. Bikes available.Horses n riding. Swimming pool is a big plus.

We have enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful place. A lot of nature and amazing sky at night. Perfect for people who enjoy star gazing, relaxing in the nature and have bike or horse tours. There is possibility to take a horse rides for them who wants to do it. It is possible to borrow bicycles absolutely free of charge. Whole area is looking fantastic and is located perfectly between Faro and Olhao, so it is possible to travel any direction by bicycles.

Nothing negative to add

Beautiful location, just a short drive away from Faro Airport. Close to faro and a couple of other smaller towns, with plenty of amenities close by. Very private and secure feel to the area, with beautiful scenery and excellent facilities. The host was lovely, extremely approachable, and happy to advise on anything we needed. I would suggest you need to be driving as the location is set a little back from any modes of public transport. We took 2 young children who enjoyed the pool and played football on the all-weather pitch, spent time with various animals, including horses and bulls. There were bikes and other activities for children to use free of charge, as well as a ping pong table and so on. Would certainly return were I ever to stay in and around Faro again. Thank you

the life on a farm starts early in the morning so late sleepers be aware..

The friendly animals, helpful, kind and caring staff. the facilities were cool-the pool, the football pitch and communal area. Fantastic view from the rooftop/terrace. Lovely place and very relaxing.

A really restful place to stay. Clean and comfortable we are on a road trip and had stayed in Lisbon before coming here I have limited mobility and after the rushing around in Lisbon I sat in caught up on the washing great drying on the roof

Pedro is super kind- He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He gave us many tips on the surrounding area and even gave us a lift back to Faro city on our last stay. We loved his staff especially the lady who was always around to help us when we needed something and the friendly farm animals.
