Paulo was a super host. You can really feel he enjoys welcoming his guests and having them at his place. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a big and comfortable bed and a prived spark clean bathroom just for me :) The metro station was just 5 min by foot and it was the main line to go to all the famous attractions in Porto. I definitely recommend this place 💜

There was a slight need for a mini fridge in the room to store cold beverages or pastel de natas.

There were so many positives about the stay: - The hosts dad welcomed us and did everything to make us feel right at home. He spoke excellent Spanish and could also speak English. He gave us many recommendations of places to visit in Porto. - The host himself was equally as serviceminded as his dad. He gave us recommendations for restaurants in the local area and also recommended a few (very good) bakeries/breakfast places. - The room itself was very clean, spacious and super cozy. The electrical heater was a lifesaver during the cold evenings/nights in the room, as it made us feel very warm and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and equipped with a hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo. All in all, it was more than perfect!

Looked better than the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. It was also close to the metro. Host was very helpful, even gave us a map highlighting key places we could go to and how to get there. The house is very close to the metro, about 3-5mins walk. The bus stop is also nearby. I didn’t have any issues at all, you can also order a ride if you don’t want to take public transportation.

Loved everything! The host is so lovely, explained everything and gave some recommendations. The facilities were perfect for alone stay, I felt like home. Very comfortable bed, great shower, wifi. Location is a bit further away from the centre but short walking distance to metro station and easy way to everywhere.

Lack of a/c, but a fan instead.

Comfortable huge bed, large shower. Very friendly owner, the kindest man I've met. Gives useful information, map etc. Free bottles of water, coffee, tea. There are wine glasses and tea mugs for use, even a corkscrew. Room was exactly as described and in the pictures. 3 minutes walk from metro station also a recommended by the owner breakfast café and a dinner restaurant. 1 more minute further there is a supermarket and local stores (greengrocer's). 1 minute walk there is a self laundry. Best in Porto!

Best sleep ever, bed was great. Really quiet. Only about half an hour walk to the centre. Hosts were really helpful if you needed them. Loads of cafes in the area for breakfast. Would love to go back and would definitely recommend.

Exceeded our expectations. We were made so welcome. Comfortable beds. Tea-making facilities. Very clean. Our host Gils left us to our own devices and was helpful when we needed advice. And to top it off the laundromat was at the end of the street. Wish we could have stayed longer in Porto.

Overall I had a great stay; clean, nice interior, comfy beds, great staff and I found it nice that the accommodation wasn't in the hustle and bustle of the the city center, but still close enough when going by metro. Definitely would come back when I visit Porto again!

Gil, our host during the duration of our stay was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, spacious and had everything we needed. We could walk to the metro station in 2-3 minutes to reach central Porto.

It was everything we were looking for a place in Porto. It was near the train station, there were good restaurants near the place, and a laundromat down the road. The room was very spacious for just two people, and the time it took to get to the city center was not long at all. The neighborhood is safe and well lit at night, so there were no worries. Amazing knowledgeable hosts... They set up a taxi to pick us up at 4:30am for the airport and it was there before the pickup time. We would definitely recommend this place.
