I have mobility issues so walking up stairs is my only dislike but it's only one flight and not a big deal really.

The location was very central and in a nice neighborhood. A great market was 5 minutes away as well as coffee shops and restaurants. There was a park across the street and the city bus had a stop right in front.

I recommend this apartment, it was awesome for us. 5 adults, 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. 3 bathrooms, how cool is that! The apartment was super clean and modern. We were able to leave our luggage an 1hr prior to check in, the host met us at the apartment. Great location, about a 10 min walk from Sao Bento. The host was amazing, she always answered my millions questions (used What's app). Grocery store accross the street which was convenient. Also, if you do have a rental car, there is a public parking at 12 euros/24hrs, it's located a minute walk from the apartment. I would definately go back next time I am in Porto!

Some of the plug sockets and TV fixing were loose or coming out of the wall. Had to be very careful with the hot water taps as the temperature could get way too hot and burn you.

We were a bit concerned the TV was not securely attached to the wall and so had to block it off from our infant.

The location couldn't be better. The apartment and building were well presented and equipped with everything we needed. Good correspondence with host and quick to resolve a small issue we had. Take note that if you are traveling with an infant and are intending to use the free car transfer included with booking.com you need to request a car seat as they won't be able to take you otherwise.

The bathroom is a little small for the size of the apartment and number of people, there is an ensuite to one of the bedrooms so this helps. Certain things are well used so there are some very minor repairs that are required such as the shower riser rail, some of the kitchen drawers etc. Nothing at all that would put you off from staying here but would be great if fixed as can be annoying.

This apartment is in a great location, just at the top of town. Its a relatively quiet area but plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby plus a supermarket across the square. The building has been restored to a very high standard and the decor and style is very pleasant. We had the top floor apartment with the front balcony which was superb, lots of room for a large family and a very fresh and bright feel to the place. Many routes to walk back from the river to the apartment and you get to see everything and find something new everyday. There is a bus stop right outside and you can get to the beaches (Matosinhos and Foz do Douro) very easily and directly.

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Casa Amarela during the New Year celebrations in Porto. When I booked the apartment, I had no idea that the festivities happen in the square that the house is located on. We had the best views of the celebration and fireworks! The owners are very nice and checking in was very smooth. The house is just outside of the super touristy parts of Porto, but everything is within walking (or climbing) distance.

If you wish to visit Porto and be within walking distance of most of the city this is the place to stay. The apartment was in an excellent location and the service was top class. Plus the apartments themselves are lovely with everything you need including all the comforts.

LOUD! If you get a room facing the Square it's nonstop motorcycles, food delivery scooters and fast loud cars. And the rooms facing the Square will be unbelievably hot in the summer. Like a pizza oven! I would recommend getting a room on the northside of the location away from the noise and blazing summer sun.

Friendly and professional hosts. Excellent location if you want to be 10 to 15 minutes walk from everywhere without being in the crazy tourist zone. Some non-touristy local eateries within minutes. Washing machine works great! If I came back it'd be in better weather and I'd get a room away from the busy loud road.

The only downside (and this is not the property's fault in any way) was that the upstairs guests were very loud and they found it necessary to move furniture around and train at late hours in the evening. Also, I wouldn't use the 2 frying pans as they looked scratched and therefore unsafe to cook in. I just used the wok which was fine.

This property is a little gem I'm glad I found. It is located very close to the center, in a safe area, 5 minutes walk from Trinidad metro station and about 10 minutes walk to Lello Library. I had a self late check in, which was with no issues. The apartment is very tastefully renovated, modern, elegant and had everything I wanted for my holiday. The apartment was spotless, no pipes noises as previous reviews said, everything working properly. The property managers were very responsive to my messages throughout my stay.

Noise from Neighbours. Shower heads need to be adjusted, as they put water all over the floor! Sofa is a little uncomfortable.
