The tv was not functional, you had to pay for movies and shows, same for the parking, 10 dollars a day

The best hotel I have ever been to. Big room, very confortable bed, awesome bathroom, big balcony. The breakfast was amazing, very diverse and very tasty. Access to spa, swimming pool, live shows every evenings. Last day I felt sick and they let us do a late checkout up till 15:30 instead of 12, very kind of them.

The design of the hall is excellent the staff is friendly, helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool deck end the live music at nights.

The hotel was modern, clean, well equipped. The staff was always kind, professional and present for every request. Every day we found a small treat (pastry, fruit) in our room after it got cleaned. For my birthday they even left a small birthday cake!

Thanks to a free upgrade we had a luxury, spacious superior suite on the highest floor for a week with stunning ocean view from the terrace and even from the bed. The hotel is perfectly designed, stylishly furnished, super clean. The staff is nice. The breakfast is excellent. It's easy to find parking place. Dear Management, thank you for this unforgottable upgrade.

Everything! Hotel looks brand new and very stylish! Great gym and swimming pools. Reception staff were so friendly and helpful deserving 5 stars and even more! I really impressed of how they like their job and were so proud and happy to help anytime I speak to any of them.

A bit funny when you need to pay the following extras in the 4 star hotel: - 1€ to change the pool towel. - 10€ to play pool. - 10€/day private parking (use the one on the street, way cheaper). The sauna room needs to be booked which is not mentioned in the description. The inside pool was a bit chilly.

Breakfast in morning very chaotic and busy! Pillows were awful and didnt get much sleep. Buffet in eves we tried once was very average and not worth the price. Much better places to eat outside hotel.

Location, spa and pool were great. Room good size with balcony. Breakfast had a big selection of hot and cold food. Nice places to eat and drink within immediate area.

I didn't like not being able to enjoy more days

I liked the location of the hotel, 5 minutes from the city. Excellent staff who are attentive to any questions or help. The buffet staff, including the manager or superior, was a very kind and attentive person at breakfast time. A great greeting and I hope to return soon.

Most staff were friendly. One lady with long hair at the reception always looked stressed out and cranky She seemed to be selective in whom she wanted to smile to. The hotel staff told us the Turkish bath and sauna were included. When we went to the indoor pool, we then found out we had to book in advance. It was not convenient \. In all other countries we travelled to, we never needed to book ahead to use the sauna or the steam room. The free shuttle to the town was a bonus. But the drop off point was by the cruise ships. It was still a distance to walk to the main part of the town eg the well known fish market.

The hotel is modern. The room is spacious and clean. We had a room with a balcony that gave us a bit of the sea view. The breakfast quality and quantity were also excellent. The staff at the breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

My special request wasn't possible but it wasn't a big deal and the gym itself is mostly a cardio/core room with a one in all machine

Everything was amazing, be it service, staff, facilities, room service .... and for the price it was definitely more than worth - Definitely revisiting Plus the location is all you could ask for, super close to Funchal, Lido and Forum Madeira (everything is basically at walking distance)

Very limited cooked food at the evening buffet. A bit expensive at 30 Euros per person not including a drink. Personally i would prefer my food to be a bit hotter.

Nice bright spacious and clean room, good location for our needs. Good bar with excellent staff. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Free shuttle bus into Central Funchal.

Breakfast is enormous but the quality isn't great. Coffee was pretty terrible. However, the fresh omelette station is excellent.

The communal areas are absolutely stunning, a welcome drink on arrival, a gift in the room, fantastic room, comfortable bed, great pool and sun area, wonderful staff....

Gym was a bit small and breakfast could have had more vegetarian options. Very hard to park car near the hotel, since they don’t have own parking.
