If only the room size is bigger than I’d definitely give it 4.5 out of 5. Other than that, everything is fantastic!

Location wise is top notch. It is very near to city centre less than 10 min walk and 11 min on the car from the Airport. You cant argue more. The staff are all very nice and helpful.

One of the male might staff was very rude when we were not able to get into our room and we were told there was no way in to our room once we got locked out with the card left in the room, we were locked out for over an hour before he woke up and said he did actually have a spare key into our room

The walls are very thin so our neighbours with a baby who decided to scream and run around the hallways at 5am wasn’t very pleasant, but over all there wasn’t anything worth mentioning.

It was very clean, very close to the centre. You could go up on the roof or chill in the community room with a kitchen as well where you could cook. Everything was super clean and everyone was respecting all the rules. The staff was amazing and very helpful with all of our questions as it was our first time in Portugal. Our room was small but you don’t need a big room if you’re travelling all day and go back to sleep. Bathroom was very clean too and we had a balcony as well.

No combination safe in the rooms. Hotel Front door electronic key code didn't operate the lock.

Excellent location. Short walking distance to most of the city. Great to have the option of kitchen/diner to prepare meals using fresh local ingredients. Also access to the roof terrace. Great views of the nesting storks on the tower of the nearby Chapel.

The hostel was great but there was some street noise from the council rubbish collection in the night so if your a light sleeper bring earplugs or ask for a room at the rear

The poor communication through the app, but when I’ve got there they treated me very well. That’s good then.

For the price, is fair enough. Clean, comfortable and very well located. The bed and pillows are okay, quite liked. I’m very concerned with hygiene of places, and this one was pristine! Loved.

Not quite a 5* review because of the following The recycling in the kitchen isn’t good-the bin has sorting at the top but all goes into one bag. It also isn’t very well stocked. A few more bowls and a small chopping board would make it functional. Also a better system for food storage-stickers that we could add name and date so things could be cleared when people leave. Maybe some signs saying if food has been left and can be used by other guests. The top bunk bed had no guards and a very high drop. I would have been very worried if my children were any younger. We tied towels and a scarf to make a barrier but I worry for other children. We mentioned to multiple staff that we’d like to store our luggage for 1hr so that we could have lunch in town before we leave. They all said that it’d be fine and would cost €5 including the man who saw us with our backpacks on. I even spoke with the lady about where things would be stored and she told me it depended on size and that if things are really big there’s a cupboard otherwise just near reception. On the reception there’s a sign that says that luggage can be stored for €5. At 10 we checked out 2hrs early and asked to store our back packs. We had 4 small backpacks and some tote bags with food. Lots of bags but all very small and didn’t need to be stored in the cupboard. The blonde lady at the desk then said that it’s €5 per bag. In the end she agreed to make a special price for us of €10 but I still found this a lot to store our bags for 1 hour especially as we were checking out 2hrs earlier. Some clearer communication/sign around this would be good. I wouldn’t have planned to stay for lunch if I’d known it was per bag but by this point the kids were excited and expecting it.

A beautiful hotel in a great location. Very elegantly decorated and our room was large and light-amazing bathroom. It was also excellent to have use of the kitchen. The first man who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming and went out of his way to show us around and welcome us-5 stars for him!
