It would have been nice to have some comfortable chairs/sofas in the formal room to sit and relax and meet other residents.

Fantastic location a stones throw from bus station and the marina. Lively area so can be noisy at the weekend but worth being so close to restaurants etc. Honesty box was great idea in kitchen

We really enjoyed our stay in Faro. The rooms were exceptionally beautiful and tidy, with comfortable beds, and the location was super central. The rooftop terrace was delightful, and the kitchen, equipped with everything you need, was stunning. Additionally, our interaction with Paulo was very pleasant; he assisted us with everything. Thank you very much!

Parking was a bit hard to find. Some noise from local pubs during Rugby tournaments could be heard at night but I didn't mind as I knew we were in a central city place.

This was my favourite place to stay during our 2 week trip to the Algarves. The host was perfect. I accidentally left my hat there and he made sure I got it back. The place itself is absolutely charming and different from any place I had stayed in before. It has both a rich historical vibe but with modern amenities about it that is difficult to describe. I loved the old piano room with the high painted ceilings. I loved the kitchen set up , it had available beer and coffee to purchase! I loved our room which was perfectly set up with high ceilings and windows and decorated simply and practically and very clean. The beds were very comfy. I loved the shared terrace. I wish we could have stayed longer in this great place. It was easy to find and use the codes to get in, and just steps from the front door is a neat artsy store, a variety store and restaurants. Its on a street you cannot drive so parking is to be found a bit further away. I LOVED this place.

Everything was just amazing. The guesthouse is so beautiful, the kitchen looks like it’s straight out of a museum. There is a spacious terrace, where you can even see the sea. Paulo was so nice and helpful with everything and he told us a bit about the house and how they renovated it. Beds were comfy, the location is very central and convenient and you can walk everywhere from here.

The location was perfect for my stay in Faro. Close to everything and the staff were amazing. I'd recommend this property for all your needs when exploring Faro. you can also hop on a train to anywhere in the Algarve. The train station is less than a 5 minute walk away.

Convenient to the bus and train station. A little bit if street noise at night but that's to be expected when you stay in the thunk if things. Paulo was very helpful. Nice patio and kitchen facilities.

Sound-proofing around the doors wasn’t the best as you could hear every tiny sound that was happening in the hallway. However once people were in their rooms it was completely silent which was good. Also the en-suite bathroom setup was really strange - a curtain instead of a door to separate the room from the toilet and then a shower cubicle with a window to the room (there’s a blind that can shield the window but i don’t understand why this was designed as such in the first place). It’s fine if you’re travelling solo but may be awkward if travelling with friends

Perfect location - just a few minutes walk from the bus station and near lots of shops and restaurants and the main strip. Air con worked really well and there’s a cute little terrace. Kitchen has all the amenities you could require. Overall this place was the perfect stay for my needs :)

Paulo was incredibly helpful and friendly. It was in a great location and was clean, cool and a beautiful building. Shared bathroom and kitchen facilities couldn’t have been better. Would definitely recommend.

Being located in an old building, the premisses are accessible via pretty steep stairs. For the same reason, the rooms are not extremely well soundproofed. Furthermore, unfortunately, the bathroom/shower are only separated from the room by curtains.

Paulo, the owner, was immensely friendly, polite and accommodating of our needs (e.g. moving a table to the room, so I can work remotely, or letting us leave our luggage and stay in the premisses after check-out), which we're very thankful for. Also Paulo's employee, Mónica, was very considerate and cordial. The room and the entire premisses looked clean, fresh and well-kept, being the first accommodation in Portugal where I could not see mold in the bathroom/shower area. The kitchen is well-equiped and also looks and feels cozy. The location is very central, with easy access to the ferries and beautiful locations in the historical center.

The sound blocking can be better.

The manager was so nice, he answered all our questions and gave us many advices on exploring the city. He helped us find our ring which was forgotten in the room and put our luggage in the lounge. The hotel is centrally located, by a very short time reaching the port and the train station. There were many stores and restaurants around the area.

It was a very gorgeous place. It kept the old feel of the building, which I really liked. Paulo was very nice in sending links for everything, which was a really good tool that we used. There is noise outside, but the windows are really good, so you will see a difference as soon as you close them. Everything is walking distance. Really had a great time! Will definitely come back to Faro! The kitchen was really well prepared 👌
