How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel were able to let me check in much earlier than their advertised time which was such a bonus. Staff were always ready to help and answer questions. Room was beautiful with everything you could need and other thoughtful touches. Loved it.

Only negative comment is that we had a room that was on the main road with the tram line running along it so it was quite noisy until 12am or after.
Great location and only 10 minutes walk to The Old Town Square. The breakfast was fantastic and there was plenty of choice. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean and comfortable.

Lovely spacious room and large bathroom worked well for our family of three (20 year old son). Breakfast buffet was high quality and plentiful in a beautiful space. Service was excellent- front desk, housekeepers, and breakfast staff. We easily found street parking and were able to walk to key sights. Highly recommend.

Shower was weak. Room could have been better maintained (bathroom door didn’t latch, bulb on main light gone). No welcome at breakfast so didn’t know where to sit

Lacked a bit of atmosphere. Needed a social space and bar area that was more comfortable and welcoming especially in the late afternoon/early evening. Found the Amaryllis restaurant whilst good food when it arrived (after an hour waiting) wasn’t really our thing as too small plate and expensive for what we got -we were hungry!
Good location. Very clean and comfortable nights sleep. Staff very polite and friendly.

The two single duvets. Water pressure in the shower wasn't very strong and bath towels a little small. Pillows very small and soft.
Liked the location near the castle and river. Decor was modern. Really appreciated the upgrade which provided a lovely balcony area overlooking the orchard of adjoining property, ideal for a coffee and reading my book in the morning sun. Reception staff helped with directions to train station and booked a taxi for our return journey to the airport. Breakfast had something for everyone and the staff were helpful & friendly as were the cleaning staff who took good care of our room during the stay. A big thank you to Anna. Very quiet at night so easy to sleep.

Didn’t get a view of the Wavel Castle as described on the website but still had a lovely view nonetheless.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hotel room was lovely and spacious.

The hotel was in a great location, very helpful friendly staff. The room was spotless and cleaned daily, breakfast was really good and the restaurant food was amazing. highly recommend to any one staying in Krakow.

This hotel was ideally located between the Main Square and the Jewish Quarter in a quiet area. The room was huge, comfortable and immaculate. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely stay here again.

The lady at breakfast was quite rude & was the only thing that let the hotel down. We asked for eggs & she brought the plate over just left it on our table no table manners etc. Was a shame because front of house staff were so lovely.
The hotel is in a great location, the most helpful staff & everywhere was immaculate. Breakfast was delicious. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more.
