How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The dark carpet did not lift the energy of the room or the collidor.

The customer service at the reception was just ok, no smiles or any intimacy. The room was small, there was no space to place 2 suitcases of 10 kg.
The hotel is located in a quiet street between the old and the new town. Pretty good room but a bit small. It provides all necessary hygiene products and is clean. I would recommend it for a stay of a few days.

Small selection of food for breakfast and probably not intentionally selection of hams and dried meat served was smelling very bad and out of date.
A very nice hotel in great location, spacious and grand main hall, rooms are so cosy and comfortable. They are small, but so nicely arranged, beds are one of the comfiest ever, very nice shower, amazing view, all together a great stay.

Rooms were too hot probably because the air conditioning didn't seem to work. No kettle in the room.
The design of the hotel reception and rooms were very modern and attractive. Fantastic large modern bathroom. Location was good between the river and old town.

The hotel is perfectly located for my purposes and has a predictable quality of facilities. The staff is friendly and supportive. The room was clean and cozy. Great sound insulation.

Unfortunately very few equipment. I think at least a kettle should be a must n the bedroom. It would also be nice to have a small fridge. We also had a blackout in the morning but quickly fixed by the staff.
Very nice hotel, the room was perfectly cleaned and very quiet atmosphere. Nice design, confortable bed and also the shower is bigger than usual. There is a fake aquarium on tv, very relaxing :)

Clean and comfortable room and bed, great position, lovely lunch, fantastic bar and lobby hall, the staff were amazing and incredibly helpful. I picked a basic room, but it had everything. I cannot but recommend this hotel.

Bathroom was a tad smelly but seemed to clear up once the bathroom door was opened. Could use a wastebasket in the room in addition to the bathroom. My room location was overlooking the ‘courtyard’ which really is a misnomer. However, since I was only in the room for sleeping, it really ended up not being much of an issue.

i was traveling alone and booked a room for 1 person. the blanket was small (i am including pictures of before and after sleep). maybe it was so small because i was alone or it is their started size, either way i would prefer a double blanket. i also wish the tv had some entertaining options in english. there were some news channels, but i’d love an option of a sitcom or a show. bathrobes would be nice to have too.
the room was nice and clean, styled like a standard room of this chain. two pillow options, which is great. the lobby is open 24/7 and serves some light snacks. it was great to have a warm sandwich after a long day of travel. there is no room service, but you can take the food you ordered up to your room. the staff very kind and attentive.

Great location! The hotel itself is nice and modern, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. Also, there was a choice of pillows, which was nice. The cocktails in the bar downstairs are superb, and at a good price :) I really enjoyed the breakfast as well! A very good selection of food. Good alternative options spotted as well: gluten free bread, vegan yogurts and a few types of plant-based milk. I do hope it stays this way :)

Missing a bottle of water/a water-cooler for guests. Having water for guests is a must-have for a hotel of $100 per night. Also, there was no kettle in the room.
