The extractor vent in the bathroom was letting in cold air. Fortunately it has an adjustable damper. Once I had it adjusted to a smaller opening comfort was restored.

Shower head was very low, so made washing my hair difficult, bathroom door opened right onto you when sat on the loo (or standing, for the fella's), which was fine as a solo visitor but could be a little bit of a hazard for two and would benefit from a little sound proofing (could hear next door snoring lol) but this is me thinking super hard about little things, as overall it was just perfect for my short stay.

Great host, clean and comfortable facilities, with everything you could need. Really well placed for exploring the Coromandel. Super comfy bed.

Our toilet had a gurgle which made me laugh every time we flushed and the aircon faced over our bed so it was hard to find the right temperature on the hot nights.

Quick drive to town but a bit far to walk. The airport is nearby but small planes only take off during the day which wasn't too disruptive as we were out for most of the days. Very quiet otherwise and you cannot hear any traffic which is lovely. Peaceful spot with birds singing in the trees outside. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was awesome and we had a bigger deck than some of the other rooms which was great.

Someone knocking on my door at night saying that the walls were 'paper thin' and that the voice from my I-pad movie was too loud and in fixing the problem I can hardly hear any commentary on my I-pad now. Unfortunately she was right. I could hear every movement from the unit she was in next door. I felt like knocking on her door to tell her I'd better not hear her and her man making out!!!!!

The shower pressure was very weak. The little fridge in the room did not seem cold at all. I thought the entrance to the motel was slightly untidy, meaning the gardens and trees etc. It was raining when I arrived and I had to run back and forward to my car to get my things out and I was worried that the deck looked very slippery. It would be a good idea to have mats outside the ranchslider to be able to wipe your feet on. An alarm went off at about 6.30 in the morning and I was a bit concerned about what it was.

The room was very clean and tidy. The arrival and departure was quick and easy. The bed was very comfortable. The gentleman at the desk was friendly although he did not say much. The motel was not too far away from town if you have a car and in a nice location.

the corner of the room had a bit of a mildew smell and the location is not close to town but there is plenty of parking so it’s no issue really.

the host went above and beyond to accommodate our needs! the deck behind our room was sooooo nice. and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. a quiet and lovely setting
