Bathroom was clearly worn and did not look very clean (although i'm sure it was), especially the toilet seat.

Beautiful view, wonderful breakfast and great area. Loved how close it was to the city center. Common areas and rooms were spacious. Good value for the price.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating, and even let us check in after our very early train in the morning.

Nothing specific, just that rooms were a bit stuffy without the window open. However that's true for most closed spaces.

The kitchen facilities could definitely be bigger and better equipped. It was always busy and we even had to sit on the stairs to eat one night, after waiting a long time to share the cooker and get clean crockery and find a pan…!

The wifi worked intermittently in our room, but gets better in the lobby. The bathroom lacked hangs for the towels, the lavatory is so small that you can't put almost nothing there, and when you get a shower you literally flood the entire bathroom, which is an interesting experience. The breakfast buffet is rather basic, I missed the good coffee. There are also no selections of sweets or warm food, but the rest is ok. I consider the hotel rather expensive for what it offers, but it’s probably one of the best options in Voss.

We stayed one night in this hotel, that Is more like a hostel, with simple rooms. The best thing are the views to the lake, which are wonderful, it has also access to the lake and tables to seat outside if the weather is nice. It’s only 10 min walking from the station, so it’s definitely well located. The staff at the reception are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is a common kitchen where we could prepare sandwiches and put our food in the fridge.

The shared kitchen is rather small, so it gets very busy with only two groups of guests using it. Plan simple meals so you can get away with just using one pan.

Perfect location, right on the lake giving the best view from our windows and a short walk into town. It also had recycling facilities by the kitchen which was handy.

The kitchen is really small and just one family really can use it at a time, we decided not to use it and went to eat outside. With such a lovely location, it would make such a difference to paint the halls and rooms freshly, they look so tired unfortunately. The mattress are varied - some are okay and others are IKEA sponge which you roll to the middle of and difficult to sleep on. Last point is that the bunk beds are high and there is no ladder, it was really hard to get up and down using a few circle holes. It would be dangerous for little kids I think.

It is a good value choice for families or groups. 10 mins walk from the train station, gondola etc., and lovely lakefront views and benches to sit and read outside when the weather is nice. Staff were very friendly and we liked the breakfast, it was simple but appreciated the thoughtfulness of vegan offerings and free tea/coffee in the lobby area.
