The location was brilliant. Chris greeted us and was very nice and welcoming. The place itself was clean and comfortable. There were loads of nice little touches such as a booklet with loads of advice on where to go and what to do, a Nespresso machine, some snacks and fruit, juice and some beers and a hair dryer AND hair straightener, which was fab. I thought it was very nice to have a little box filled with the usual bits people forget and need while away, (would be great to throw some panty liners in there too!) it's a lovely touch. Also, some little Strupe waffles 😍 We were delighted to have a large smart tv with Netflix login available. The stairs up was a typical crazy old stairs in Amsterdam and I loved it 😄. It has such character. We had everything we needed anyway. Lovely stay.

As it is an old building, steps up 1 floor are very steep and narrow. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues.

Clean and comfortable room. Assistance with luggage when we arrived and departed. Great coffee and surprise treats every day. Very helpful staff.

Verry cute apartement in the city center of Amsterdam. Great location, 10 min walkibg from tge central station, and 5 minutes walk to the main shopping street. There is no reception, but Chris welcomed us right on time and was available for any question, helped us book a taxi to the airport in the eraly morning.

Chris met us on check in and showed us around our room etc. He is generous in his approach supplying us with fruit and drinks and coffee pods. The bed was comfy and made up each day for us. The property location was perfect for us also. We were expecting a bit of noise being in Centre of Amsterdam but it was super quiet. Thanks we had a fun time!

Wonderfull location. In the old town, 10 minutes from train station. Good restarants nearby. Chris was very helpful. Stairs are extremely steep. He carried luggage up and down the stairs.

I booked a last minute trip to Amsterdam and was very lucky to have the opportunity to stay at the Sunflower. I was meeting up with friends, who had already booked another location, and have to say that their accommodation had nothing on this. The property is ideally located in the centre of Amsterdam, very easy to get to from centraal station, and everywhere else. The room was spotless, very cosy, and has all that you need. The decor was lovely, very dutch feel, and a very comfy bed. I highly recommend this property and will definitely return. This was my first visit to Amsterdam and this has set the tone for future visits. Just be aware that the stairs to enter the property are very steep :)

Everything exceeded my expectations.

This inn is a hidden gem. It is a short walk from a tram stop, with easy access to central station. It was also a short walk from the inn to the wallen, to dam square, and basically anyplace in the city center. The rooms (bedroom and sitting room) were immaculate, and were cleaned each day. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk, fruit, and snacks were provided, as were a couple of beers in the mini-fridge. Chris and his team were responsive and friendly. If you don't need the services of a hotel, I highly recommend this inn.

There are very very steep stairs to access the room. On weekends it is really noise and hard to sleep for the people screaming an partying just outside the windows of the room.

The location is great, super close to Dam square and Chris is an exceptional host.

The music from the hairdresser downstairs was noisy while they were open. This wasn’t a problem when we were out exploring during the day, but if you wanted to stay in it would be off putting.
