Only minor complaints were the lack of a mirror in the bedroom. The only mirror is over the sink next to the shower which made it awkward when drying hair . Also found the shower floor was a little slippy. Plus the towels could have been larger. Fine if you are 5 ft tall but at 5 ft 9 I struggled.

Lovely modern hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Abdo in particular was great. Taking us outside to point out the directions to where we could get the bus into the city centre. Hotel was very clean. Although not in the most picturesque location and outside the city centre the availability of public transport made it an ideal base for our sight seeing. Plus only one stop on the train from the airport. Would happily book again if travelling to Amsterdam in the future.

I think the lighting in the room was a little too confusing to understand even with the instructions on the TV screen. It would have been nice to have the option of tea in the room as well as coffee.

The location was perfect, so easy to get to the centre of Amsterdam using the Metro. The food was amazing, the burger was the best we’ve had! Lovely staff, clean room and really comfy bed!

There is glass door on the WC with bright light that comes on automatically when the room is entered. This design is not well thought through since it is very disruptive to others when someone gets up in the night to go to the washroom!

Staff did their best to accommodate our early arrival. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome. The dinner in the restaurant was amazing, especially the pasta - we ended up eating there twice, would definitely recommend!! We were also able to rent bikes from the hotel and it was only a 15 min cycle into Amsterdam

my only complaint about our stay, is we didn’t have a single window in our hotel room. it was extremely hard for our bodies to try to adjust to amsterdam’s time because we are from the states, it’s an 8 hour time difference. and due to the lack of sunlight it made it extremely hard. i need sunlight! and also no fans in the bathrooms, so it would get soo humid and hot in there. the toilet situation was extremely weird, we stayed in a family room and the toilet had a glass door and you could hear absolutely EVERYTHING. we ended up using their bathrooms downstairs more often then not. just made the whole sharing a room experience pretty dang awkward.

loved the environment and the friendliness of the staff, they were exceptional! it was a beautiful hotel.

The area that the hotel is in is a little run down.

Our bedroom was spotless clean and the bed was really comfortable. Good selection for breakfast. Only 10 min w as ok from train/metro and tram.

Breakfast was excellent but why halal bacon? Not everyone is Halal. Location isn't the best but we knew that when booking. Did not like the "night light" and didn't know how to turn it off.

We visited the Met from the UK for our wedding anniversary and without a doubt the staff we encountered on our stay were all amazing. The location is a bit far from the city centre but you can easily take the tram or metro by walking in less than 5 mins.

The staff are friendly and willing to help. The room is clean and cosy. Though living on the ground floor makes me a bit unsafe, generally it was a perfect experience. Also, there is a good restaurant inside the hotel so it is good that you can order food directly without going out if needed.

It was perfect for our stay. It's great value for money.

It's a brand new, very stylish hotel. The staff is very friendly, they helped us if we had any problems during our stay in the city. The corridor opens from the bar but the rooms are well soundproofed so we neither heard the bar or neighbors at all. There aren't much people there at night so I guess it's visited by the guests mostly. We liked the breakfast, it fit our taste. It's served in the bar area in the morning. Our room matched its pictures and properties so nothing to complain. The TV in the room has builtin casting so we could enjoy our shows without any problem. The AC in the room was quite and I could set the temperature high enough. The hotel is located in a residential area so the view from the room is not very interesting but I didn't care. The nearest bus or metro station is in walking distance. There are two big supermarkets and other small restaurants around too.

The facilities were wonderful and very grateful for the amenities given. However 3 in 1 shower gel is a 1 outta 3 for me.
