How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Air-conditioning didn't work efficiently regardless of adjustments. First room had no openable windows. Pillows were very fashionable but very uncomfortable.

Heavy duvet provided even if hot inaide the building

Just one little issue. I paid 246 euro for a privilege room and it looks like a normal room to me. Been to the same Hotel before and the normal room seems even better. For the rest all good and I loved it. Friendly workers and well understanding.
Of all Places, this is one of the best places you can be in Tilburg. Location at the heart of Tilburg where you'll find everything. Generally clean, fitness and many other that will make you relax.

- pillows were very uncomfortable , bed was amazing. - swimming pool would be nice - when we asked for a bucket of ice we had to go get it at the bar ourselves , instead of them bringing it up to the room.

There was no safe box and we asked for the tv to be connected to internet (it had the facility to do so) but was told the people who deal with that can only help during weekdays so we couldn’t watch anything when we were in our room. I was not able to open our curtains for our stay because there was a multi-storey car park across from us which meant there was no privacy
Location was great and we asked for some extra things and there was a man on his first day who was really helpful. The lobby and restaurant were decorated nicely

Phone didn’t work, so you had to use your mobile to call reception. This isn’t a new problem unfortunately. Housekeeping was a bit stingy with the toilet paper.
Location is perfect, breakfast is also good and personnel very helpful. Beds on the small side but super comfortable

The parking is not the hotel's but public garage, quite expensive with no discounted rate for hotel's guests.
The room was relatively small but nicely decorated. View to the square, new bathroom, everything was clean. Coffee machine equipped with the capsules. Staff was friendly.

The room had a lot of space, it was really clean. We also had breakfast, which was a bit expensive but you do get your moneys worth. The halls remind me a bit of a hospital, but apart from that it looks nice and clean.

I asked for an extra garbage bag. Was promised that I will get it. Sadly that did not happen so I won't be apologising for the overflowing barrage bin :)
All the staff was super friendly The fact that you get a voucher for not letting the room cleaned was also nice

There was no water for drinking in the room, no notice if the sink water is useful for drinking . It was cold in the room for my taste, but AC was not able to worm it up - it just make cold wind :) anyway under the worm blanket - all become nicer :)
We had only one night stay. Perfect central town location. Very clean, comfortable beds, quality coffee machine and tee in the room. Very helpful stuff .

I found the pillow too high.
It's in the city center, which makes our stay even better, as we can go out to dinner and other things on foot. I have a lot of allergies and I pay a lot of attention to cleanliness and everything was very clean!
