The best hotel in my life!

Since the cabins are at the waterline, the ports (windows) couldn't be opened. Instead, an AC unit was in the cabin to control air circulation. This was a good idea, but in May, it was a little cool with it on. Perhaps a fan would have been a good addition/alternative... or some kind of marine ventilator.

The staff was very helpful. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, though needed more ventilation. Having access to a coffee machine and fresh fruit was great. It was very nice to sit and have a coffee on the foredeck. The boat is also easy walking distance to the ferry and a supermarkt. I would stay onboard again.

I booked this for my parents (pensioners, just for reference...) and they absolutely loved it. From the hospitality to the atmosphere. "Super charming" were their words.

Pier area was a little dicey, but probably to be expected.

Breakfast was great & the manager, Richard, made us wonderful scrambled eggs, in addition to other offerings. The schooner was incredible, apparently built in 1919. The dining room felt like we were were in the Titanic era, with great background music from that era. The Ferry in to AMSTERDAM Center is free & runs every 15 minutes. I think it was 20 Euro to park overnight in a lot not far from the pier. It was a fun alternative to the ‘norm’.

The room was a little small, but you can't really help that as they are converted cabins on an older boat. Otherwise, everything was so so lovely

Pretty much everything about this hotel was fabulous. The location was amazing, the boat was stunning, and the host Anthony was just the best! It was so lovely to come back after a long day of wandering around to a lovely smiley face and a gorgeous hotel and view. It was one of the best parts of the trip

Nothing, the stay was great.

Everything mostly. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Anthony :) The room was nice, clean, and cosy. It wasn't possible to join the beds together, but that didn't take away from the experience. The breakfast was great, good value for the money (14 euros per person). The location is great, very accessible thanks to the free ferry (15 minutes to city center). Street parking nearby, relatively cheap (about 10 euros per day).

Super quirky. One of only two paddle steamers in Holland and beautifully restored. So much communal space and fantastic views over the water. Breakfast substantial.

Such a wonderful atmosphere! Beautiful boat, so peaceful. Excellent service. Impeccably, clean and well appointed. Great breakfast. Nice location away from the crowds, but just a short fairy ride to the center of Amsterdam.

My only issue was the shower door in our room was hard to seal completely so water came out on the floor when I showered. Other than that the bed was comfy and loved how we had our own private bathroom.

It was at a great location that was easy to get to. They provided unlimited coffee and tea for us and everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Rooms were good but public areas were exceptional. A very good breakfast too. The location is very convenient for the old town and the NDSM area is buzzing once you find the hidden restaurants!

It’s probably the best option in Amsterdam, but Price is expensive still, you need to take the ferry to go to the centre every time (it’s free), breakfast is good but could have more options.

It’s a very charming place with a good location and excellent staff. Good price comparing with other places in Amsterdam, but still over priced in my opinion. Good breakfast.

Everything is ok!

It was very clean, Anthony was very accommodating and the location is super,it's easy to go around in the city, we like the ferry too. We will surely comeback to KAPITEIN ANNA 🤩 oh and the Breakfast was Good😊

Cabin portholes were rusty and stained, and had poor quality makeshift silicone repairs. Hard to get the attention of the staff in the evening even when we were the only people there

Beautifully restored and spacious bar and lounge. I suspect it was not that good when new. 24 hour free freshly made coffee, it was from a machine, but a good one. Great buffet breakfast.

Very nice old cozy ship which is very well renovated, we had a fantastic stay. Easy access to the central station by free of charge public ferries just close by the ship. Really good location!

If you get a chance to stay here then don’t let it be a miss it’s a little gold mine location is superb with free ferry crossing to Amsterdam centre station! The staff are really friendly and welcoming I would highly recommend here for anyone staying in Amsterdam
