My wife and I want to express our sincerest and heartfelt thank you to all of the hotel staff that we came in contact with including but not limited to Tess, Lima, Chantal’s, Sinl, Ayla and Noha and the young lady that checked us in Sunday. I trust the spelling is correct. I wish I had everyone’s name to give them a shout out. Don’t forget the bartender and Polish lad at 8th floor bar. We checked out this morning. Your staff should be commended for their professional customer service attitudes. No one ever says no we can’t to it. They will say I don’t know but I will check with my colleagues and return with an answer. Someone worked with my wife on our first full day morning Monday I think for a long time to educate her on site seeing activities, public transportation access, and a general overview of the Amsterdam area. We observed how everyone pitches in, multitasking to do whatever is necessary to enhance and maximize the guest experience. When I asked for directions to the nearest post office to mail a package home, Tess told us about the package mailing service offered by the hotel that saved us a trip to the post office and added the charges to our bill. It’s extremely refreshing to receive this level of service today. So, we stand up and cheer, clap our hands and holler thank you for making our stay wonderful and memorable. Please share with the entire staff. It’s clear as day you select highly motivated professionals and train them well as I said before to maximize the guest experience.

bad WiFi. very bad. no speed at all. It is not possible to watch YouTube. and also in the toilet there is a light that goes off every second or two. what brings inconvenience from visiting this room😂😂 also repair the water pressure. he is very weak. It is not possible to use both the sink and the shower at the same time.

Nothing - this hotel is fabulous, I'd definitely stay again.

This hotel is AMAZING - easily the best hotel I've ever stayed in! It's design is so unique. The rooms are so tastefully decorated, very spacious and so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, so delicious and lots of choices. The reception team are extremely helpful and friendly - especially a lady called Putri (apologies if I've spelt that wrong). Can't recommend this hotel enough.

Beautiful hotel and although a little bit out of the city centre it was lovely to be out of the high tourist area. Very close to public transport. The breakfast was very good and the bakery they have onsite is amazing.

The check-in procedure using a tablet is complicated. No data from Booking.com is taken over so that everything has to be filled in manually. The entry mask is stupid having the "Provice" as a "must" field. Then it is not possible to send the check in form as the province is not accepted/recognized by the system. This is an example where electronical check-in is no benefit compared to the paper based one. It takes very very long to check in. Very strange and complicated charging. The guest is first asked for permission to use a pre-charged part amount. Then at check-out again the guest is asked to consent to a further credit card charge. In addition there was an increase of the city tax charged by the city of Amsterdam. We as guests have never been informed. We agreed to pay a specific total amount at the time of booking. Even if this charge comes from the city, it is not ok to be charged additional money without prior information. In room 404 there was a big spider. Having a filtered water tap in the lobby, I would expect from a 4 star hotel charging such an overnight price as of 300,- Eur/person, to also offer sparkling water from a dispenser. The light inside the room is rather weak. The water outward flow/ drainage inside the sink is holding back the dirt water. Only taking out the cover plug helped the water flow out more quickly.

Breakfast was good and diverse. The rooms are clean, there is an elevator. For 20 Euro/day it is possible to have a parking spot in the hotel garage. Filtered water is available in the lobby but tap water is potable.
