The glass shower in the middle of the room was a bit interesting. I liked it but my wife sure didn’t.

The suite was very comfortable. The king bed was a treat and the room was surprisingly quiet as it was on a busy street. Anne was our staff contact and had everything in order for us.

Room 14 at the top of the stairs is under the eves, so it is oddly laid out with a glass shower in the middle of the bedroom. Head bonking issues for tall people. No ac, but lovely cross breeze from open windoes.

The owner was lovely and went out of his way to meet our needs. You should definitely opt in for the amazing breakfast.

Nothing negative! Only suggestion we could think of was to add bath robes to the suite for lounging after a bath. Otherwise this experience was wonderful!

Attention to detail in the room and the breakfast were highlights! Comfortable bed and lounge area. A wonderful getaway, we would definitely come again for a romantic night away and we live in Haarlem. Nice to take a stroll through the Hout forest in the morning.

If you don.t have a car you need to take a short ride on the bus. The bus is very convient

Not enough tops/shelves to put things on, especially toileteries. Very small table in the room, when we used it to put the breakfast tray on we had to move everything off the table! Not enough hooks to hang coats etc.

Very quiet location. Very pretty, easy walk, alongside a park, to the city centre which took about 30 minutes. Large room, two patio doors looking out on the beautiful garden, if it had been hot/sunny we could have sat outside, patio table and chairs provided. Bed and bed linen comfy. Large shower cubicle, good shower. Fantastic breakfast delivered to our door each morning.

While a fully digital check-in is a bit unpersonal, it was very useful for us as we arrived late. We received two codes for the main door and the room and all worked perfectly. We could park the car right in front of the house. A very nice breakfast was placed in front of the room in the morning that we could complement with fresh coffee from the coffee machine. With the left overs we prepared our lunch breads. There is a nice park outside that in summer certainly would be great to relax in. Before we left the place, a nice lady came to confirm that we had found everything to our satisfaction.

The check in process was digital, which in itself is fine and should not be left until a few hours before arrival as questions may occur.

Everything was top!

The Executive Suite is a beautiful room, with an amazing bed and bath. The access and view to the terrace and backyard is wonderful and you really feel like in a bubble away from the city hustle.

A bit too far, for us, to walk to Haarlem centre, but buses were regular.

We really liked the room. Bright room with shower unusually positioned. Off road parking. Very large bed. Regular buses nearby to the centre and the train station. Coffee machine and fridge in the room.

As we stay in the ground floor and heading to the main street, sometimes we could hear cars or scooters passing by, and also the guest from upstairs. But it wasn’t that bad.

The room is so so beatiful, easy to access, comfortable bed! And the price is super reasonable! We had an amazing stay!

Overall our stay was faultless. If pushed to find fault I would judge that the attic room was a bit on the dark side despite one full length window overlooking the garden and lake. This really wasn’t an issue but nowhere is perfect, right?

The hotel is a small “boutique” style hotel - a one-off property. The hotel itself is located in a converted house on a main road on the outskirts of Haarlem, but still within the town area. The conversion has been professionally done to a high standard. There is one room in the roof space and another 3 or 4 (?) downstairs. Everything is digital, there is no reception. Check in and check out were seamless and very easy. There is ample parking right in front of the hotel. Our room was spotless and well appointed. The bed had a quality topper that was very comfortable and we slept well. Our room, in the roof space, had an open plan bathroom with the glass shower cubicle and the bath in the actual room. I am not a big fan of this concept but in this instance it worked well and did not seem strange. The rainwater shower was excellent. There was a small kitchenette, an iron and board as well as some comfortable chairs.

The room is in a good location. We travelled into Haarlem and out to the beach on bikes from the accommodation, which was really pleasant. Communication was good and check in was easy.
