Small room. Lots of stairs, no lift. Not enough english/american channels. Fire alarm went off twice, once was at 3 in the morning.

Location was great, right in the centre and not noisy at night. Comfy bed. Restocked coffee/tea daily. Fresh towels daily. A couple of english channels. Staff are great.

Cleanliness is an issue. Walls are dingy, dust bunnies across the floor. Room was not fully cleaned during daily housekeeping. I'd come back in the evening and there'd be a garbage bag left in the middle of the entranceway. The decorative blue bed pillow looks like it's never ever washed and carries the DNA of 1000 previous guests. The downside of the location is it's directly above a street that is busy and noisy till 4am. I'm ok with the trade off to be where the action is but be aware. Also, stayed in late April and the room was warm enough to need a fan. No air conditioning so I wouldn't recommend for a summer stay unless you can handle the heat.

Location is perfect for exploring the city, walking distance to the Central Station, De Wallen, Jordaan, and tram lines. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Free coffee and tea. Mini safe, a small section to hang clothes on hangers. I expected no room to open my suitcase but it has decent space for a solo traveler. Not luxury by any means but it gets the job done. Good value overall.

Great location - wonderful staff who was kind enough to print out a train time table for us and give us some guidance. Despite being in a very central location, we couldn’t hear any noise from the street when in our room.

I did not like that booking.com included an airport taxi in the price at the time of us booking. When about to travel, there was no way to find this feature. Hotel was not aware at all that booking.com marketed the hotel and a free airport taxi included.

breakfast options were not great for the price. shower room was not overly big, not alot of room to move around in there. 1 pillow per bed, which was folded in half inside the pillow case.

Location was perfect. everything we needed was in walking distance. very close to the train station as well. plenty of food options around. As well as public transport.

Can't really think of negatives. Perhaps the fitting of modern windows might have limited the outside noise a lot more but I don't know if there are local regulations that might prevent that. Didn't affect me anyway.

A great location not too far from the Central Station and walking distance from a good number of attractions. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. As expected for a city centre site, there was noise from outside, however this was not really enough to disturb me. Light sleepers might want to make use of earplugs which are available on request. No complaints here though.

Original room I was put up in, smelt and someone had be obviously sick in it. When I raised my concerns with the staff they immediately put me up in a new room that was much cleaner and smelt better. There was an elevator so access with luggage would be very easy. The location was very close to the main train station.
