Walls were like paper, you could hear everything. Next to our room were staying six guys, so they made a lot of noise during the night and in the morning. Despite that, hotel was good, but keep that in mind if you would like peace and quiet.

Only 2 minor things with the bathroom: 1- the bath didn't have the rubber stopper. When I brought it up, the team found one for me, but unfortunately it turned not to be the correct one for the bath. So I couldn't enjoy having a bath as I was hoping to do. PLEASE READ --> It was too late to mention it to the team when I realized this issue, and as I only stayed 1 night I didn't gave them feedback. Based on the service they offered us, I AM VERY SURE, that the staff would have found a solution for it. 2- there were no hooks were to hang the towels.

How perfectly located it is. You can reach all touristic places within "steps", and is surrounded by the many amazing restaurants from Valkenburg. Kind staff, very helpful. Breakfast (which was included) was good. There were many options (only missing a bit of fruit?) to enjoy a good meal before heading to discover the city.

It was very warm inside even though it wasn't outside, it was also very noisy. I lived in a city myself and never had a problem with noise but it felt like everything was happening in our room.

Het hotel is erg gedateerd/ouderwets. In bad douchen. Het was op de 2e verdieping erg warm.

The toilet flush is very loud and takes an extremely long time to finish the cycle (circa 5-7 min?). This means that the loud noise lingers on for a while. Also, the hot water in the shower was a bit inconsistent.

From our window we had an incredible view to the castle ruins and the rolling green hills of Limburg. Location is truly unbeatable as the hotel is pretty much at the centre of Valkenburg. Our room was on the third floor and there is no elevator but that was informed beforehand and my mother and I had no problems going up the stairs. Both bedroom and bathroom were really clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast is modest in choice but there is everything you need to get a good start to your day. Staff is super friendly and they were responsive when I reported an incident. All in all, a lovely place to stay!

There is almost no sound proofing so sounds from the street as well as other guests walking in the hallways was loud. however, I brought ear plugs which helped a lot.

Great location, felt very safe. staff were kind and offered me a free upgrade. breakfast was served a bit late but was good quality.

Multiple things. The water from the tap was orange for the first 10 seconds, the room was not clean, the windows were single glazed and our room was next to a busy street. If that would not keep me from sleeping, the fire alarm went off at 3:30am and everybody went outside, we couldnt reach anyone from the hotel and nobody came to check if it was a false alarm. Luckely it was a false alarm, but this hotel is clearly not prepared for a real fire.

The window was not double glazed and it was weekend. Till 3:00 at the morning I couldn't sleep becouse of the noisy voices was coming from the street then from 6:00 at the morning the voice was coming from the inside of the hotel ( if we can call it hotel) .

Well most of the rooms have a shared bathroom. And the bathroom is shared with the whole floor so we're talking about 6-7 rooms sharing a single bathroom! There's no air conditioning in the room. No bathroom facilities whatsoever. Below average rooms with no facilities as well.

The hotel has a nice location and that's about it.

Poor maintenance. Head lamps in the room were not working. Old shower curtain. Cleaning materials were just left on our door due to negligence of the staff?! We had 3 beds in the room. One bed was sagging. The other 2 were okay.
