Amazing boutique hotel in a great location , with high standards of cleanliness, lovely comfortable rooms , amazing friendly staff , especially Fleur who was so so nice , food was very good and lovely atmosphere.

It feels high end, and it was nice to hang out in the room a bit. We wished there were bathrobes, but that's only minor.

What an amazing vibe. The perfect combination between a monumental structure and an up to date interior. The staff was extremely friendly, which made the visit even better!

Possibly could have a bit more shelves hooks in the top As no wardrobe really due to the shape of room I suppose that’s difficult.

Everything, it was cosy comfortable and clean, staff very nice snd went the extra mile for you. Food in restaurant ( only had breakfast/brunch though) was fantastic

It wasn’t a problem for us, but the steep stairs to get to the rooms might be difficult for some.

The place was very inviting and the staff very friendly. The fact that there are only 5 rooms made our experience seem more exclusive, we were received with a welcoming personal written note. The room had a very unique style, combining the old building with modern decorations. They had a coffee machine and kettle to use freely in the room, and also a minifridge.

Steep stairs in this old building could be tough for some but we managed it ok. No parking on site but a car park was very close by and secure.

Frenchie is basically a lovely restaurant with some really nice rooms above. It's right in the middle of Haarlem which is a beautiful area on the edge of Amsterdam. The room was stunning, old beams, a big bed and great shower. I chose to done in the restaurant and the food was expensive but stunning quality.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, even sending drinks to our room when we got engaged. The bed was so comfortable and even though it is in the centre it was not loud, a brilliant night's sleep. The shower was wonderful, the hotel itself was a lovely old structure.

The stairs are steep and narrow….but that adds to the character of the building. Just be careful. There is noise from the restaurant and the street but again….its an old building and part of it. I turned on white noise and slept like a baby and was never bothered.

People were friendly and helpful; building had so much character; loved the calm of Haarlem after busy days in Amsterdam; the food was equally beautiful and delicious; the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in; huge bathroom for Europe and they pay attention to all of the little details that make the stay even more enjoyable.

During the day, if you're in the room, you can hear the restaurant below. This is not a problem at night or in the morning.

The service response time was exceptional. The location is terrific. Easy parking garage nearby. Would definitely go back and stay another time.

A little bit of street noise from traffic and people going about their business, we stayed on a wednesday and thursday so it was not too bad. But would still stay there again.

Location was excellent it was right in the middle of all shops and restaurants. Easy commute to and from the airport with bus 300 stop was just outside hotel. Nice and clean, lovely comfy bed, coffee machine, free sparking water, a minibar and cleaned daily. Restaurant is downstairs but a private staircase to the hotel rooms means you dont have to go in through the restaurant. Supermarket is just outside along with lots of different restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for a nice romantic getaway.

The stairs up to the rooms could be a bit difficult for anyone with mobility issues or elderly!

We had an amazing stay at the Frenchie Hotel, very nice and cozy, beautiful house, very welcoming and helpfull staff, perfect location in Haarlem And the best dog friendly hotel with special attention for our dog ! We would definitely recommend this hotel and come back ! The only thing is the parking place, which is a bit further away (but totally managable)

only that they didn’t have an English language food menu 🙁 An iron in the room would have be good too! i rang and got one sent up so it was fine.

Loved the size of the hotel, and the lovely cafe downstairs. the coffee was delicious! our room was beautifully decorated and was lovely and bright. the air conditioning was fantastic! only short walk to the main square.

The property was beautifully renovated and situated close to many amenities (restaurants, bars, cafes, etc). We had a wonderful few days and highly recommend staying here. They also have a restaurant downstairs and the food and wine were exceptional! We are there 2 nights in a row :)

This boutique hotel was a dream to stay at! The room was super spacious and the bathroom great. Right in the centre of Haarlem it was easy to get about everywhere in town, plus a bus to the train station at your doorstep. Everyone at the Frenchie restaurant was lovely and helpful, plus the breakfast there was delicious. They even left me a freshly baked pastry one day of my stay. Definitely would recommend!
