How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We liked the room and the beautiful location. The breakfast was wonderful and we had a couple of meals in the restaurant which were nice. We rented some bikes and that was great.

SPA not included in room rate which was not communicated very well. Extras like dinner, wellness etc quiet expensive. The hotel room was not that quiet.. we could hear guests in the neighbor rooms and people outside in the hallway. Breakfast was okay but no highlight.
Nice Hotel with a very nice interior and design. Bed was comfortable and the Location Good with a 15-20 Minutes walk to the Beach. Staff was polite

I booked room with two beds. Got double bed. Went to reception asked again. Got again double bed. Hm. Please do not expect anything like good food from this, not sure if I should call it restaurant. More like heat up place. And there is still not too much heat. Hamburgers are delivered half cold. Other food has dubious combination of saus and pasta. In this time of year (winter ) many other places are closed. Shortly, for the price and the way of service you would expect much much more, please don't. No fridge or minibar in a room.
Location of the hotel with nice walk to the beach is great plus. Fact that you have own nespresso cups coffee machine in the room is nice. Bit tricky to use at first, but good coffee. Breakfast is fine.

There was a pillow menu card in the room I was pleased to see this. I went to reception only to find out there were no feather pillows at all. Matras cover made of PVC : I hate this. Had to remove it. There was no real butter at the breakfast buffet, what a pity.

I was disappointed because the spa personnel is not available every day to be booked for treatments and massages,etc. - we were unlucky not to find anyone there on our stay. Since this is one of the selling points of the hotel, and customers are willing to pay extra for these services, we thought it was a waisted opportunity that made our holiday less enjoyable. Also, it seems that the hotel is struggling with finding qualified personnel; although they were very nice, they seemed to be very clumsy in handling customers, from bringing the wrong order at the restaurant, letting us know they ran out of ingredients when they were supposed to bring the food to the table, a lot of confusion with the bill at the end of the stay (add-ons were twice counted, etc.).
Nice clean hotel with sauna facilities.

There was no water cooker in the room, but it's possible to ask for one at the reception. Also no fridge/minibar in the room, that would have been a big plus.

Such a shame you have to pay for everything additionally - no drinking water in the room, no mini bar, wellness - pay additional for limited time of 4h, late checkout (13h) again additional payment. The location is actually quite far from the beach.
Nice architecture and pleasant stay.

The bed was not confortabele. We booked 1 double bed, but we got 2 single bed together. We had to pay for jacuzzi. Was not in de price.
Nice breakfast. Jacuzzi was nice, but we could not used the other facilities.
