A very basic hostel that has all the facilities necessary for someone on a budget. The kitchen in particular was excellent. Hanna and Franz were super kind and helpful during my stay!

The girls' room is for 12 people. Maybe I didn't notice there were so many people when I booked the room. I thought it was 6 or 8 people.

The common areas of the apartment are nice. The kitchen is well-equipped, the restaurant environment is great, and there is no need to queue for public bathrooms and toilets. The reception staff service was also very good.

In my opinion hostels need to have 24/7 cleaning services in the house. Shower facilities and room needs to be cleaned throughout the day/and night continuously. That lacking I would say but not that anything is bad. Just a side note

The temperature in the room was a bit too low for me. Also, new experience to me, I lef my sandwich in the fridge and didn't find it next day, so I should've done smth to protect it? And maybe that my fault but I didn't see anywhere information that you need to buy towels. Everything else was nice for one-night stay.

Nice service, everyone at the reception are always happy and willing to help you. I stayed for only one night but it was great experience.

The hostel is very well located, just the center of Zaandam. I liked the personel, the people are always nice and helpful. What is very important is the fact that it is very clean in the rooms and the bed sheets are always soft and fresh. I recommend.

I came to Amsterdam for a party so I asked the receptionist at check-in if I will be able to get in late. He assured me that I could ring the bell any time and they would let me in. Sure enough, at 5:30am, I had to wait 5 minutes before anyone answered, and nobody picked up the phone either. That didn't feel great. Also, I think the place is a bit overpriced, 80 euros a night for a dorm spot and in a town 12 minutes by train from Amsterdam proper?

The hostel is very nice and modern, I liked the pod concept of the beds, I felt like I had a lot of privacy and I didn't disturb the person sleeping underneath if I climbed to bed late. The bathrooms were also very nice, there was always hot water and they were clean. I didn't use the kitchen so I don't know about that.

It would be better if they could turn down the music in the main hallway especially late at night.

The property is close to the main station and you can either take the buss or walk 10 minutes towards the station. The rooms have an automatic safe for everyone so your stuff is in good hands. The staff members are young nice people. The best hostel you can find in Zaandam, don’t look around too much

The location is so so, it was a bit dead in the evening and I wouldn’t choose to hang around in the area after dark. Also, it’s €5 for a towel.

The music in the lounge was too loud at night - especially on Friday.

Privacy. Felt really safe and comfortable to have a little room of my own:) The facilities are all new and clean, and the staffs were nice. The location is also nice, just about 10 minutes walk along the Main Street of the cute little town Zaandam, and the price is much affordable than hostels in central Amsterdam.

Sometime outside will a little bit noisy if you like to be quiet.
