Very narrow staircase. Be careful when going up and down with luggage.

Location was great, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very small but I guess that's European standard. Bed was very comfortable and view was amazing.

The walls are thin (I could hear full conversations from several neighbors who were talking at normal volume), all rooms are on the upper floors and the stairs are VERY narrow. The staff will help with your luggage but if you have issues with mobility, balance or stairs, this hotel is probably not for you (full disclosure, all converted townhomes in Amsterdam have very narrow steps and no elevator so this is not unusual for a city property). My last concern was, at least for me, not enough light at night in the bedroom, making it very dark after sunset.

The room was nicely designed, very clean and the staff exceptionally friendly. I had a lovely view of an interior courtyard with lots of natural light.

Room was extremely small. Shower/toilet very small also and not ideal. Hard to keep everything dry as the toilet was in the same cubicle as the shower.

Location was great: could walk to old town, museums and numerous restaurants. It is right on the canal. The stairs are a little steep but that is what all boutique hotel are like. Staff will assist with luggage if you need help

Phones didn’t work walk up stairs no elevators no refrigerators but the front desk keeps your stuff in fridge for you

Location Location Location. It was smack dab in the middle of everything. Around corner from the trams and lots of shopping and dining. It was amazing. The staff goes above and beyond being helpful it’s like a family they are so sweet. I will return here with my family. We felt very safe

I have asthma and there is no elevator in the hotel. I had a nice canal view on the third floor although I had to walk up 3 nearly verticale flights of stairs (which isn’t necessarily a problem but should’ve been specified). The phones in the rooms as far as we’ve seen and been told do not work and have no directions how to use them. No visible air conditioning units or thermostats. No fridge or microwave in the room. We could not figure out how to work the coffee machine

I liked the central location it is close to supermarkets many restaurants and shopping is a stones throw it’s a great safe hotel The staff is very friendly and welcoming we felt safe and the rooms were pretty. Nice view of the canal and even the room with no view is beautiful overlooking tress And greenery. Tram is around the corner to take you to Amsterdam centrale. The stop on the #2 or #12 tram is called Leidesplein or you can take the bus # 397 from Schipol airport get out at Leidseplein
