The toilet light was flashing. The toilet light sensor was so bad. Sometimes I was doing something in the toilet and stayed in the darkness. The room was not secure. There was somebody else with access to my room. After that I stay so afraid. Never ever more I book this place. The heater was not always turned on, the cold was so bad

The place is a disgrace for the name hotel. Climbing up the 5 flights of stairs to find a double room as big as broom closet. Expensive for what it is. Reception is not in the same location. NO TOWELS PROVIDED. Lights broken. A broken room for €85

I’ve been charged €12 upon arrival under the “tourism fee” excuse even though I’ve pointed out that it was included under the booking fee I’ve paid to booking.com. The reply was go and contact booking.com as this is the fee that everyone pays. Scammers

The room was not clean and the shower was broken. I’m pretty sure they had bed bugs as my partner and I were covered in bites after our stay. The floors were dirty and the bed linen had stains on it. You also had to climb many stairs to get to your room which we didn’t really mind.

First thing happened is that our room was changed for some reason and the one we got smelled like someone soaked one of the beds in sweat. The smell was so bad we avoided the room as much as possible. The bathroom smelled like a sewer and there was hair in the drawers. This hotel gave me a rush on my skin. We asked if we could change the room but they were fully booked and we got stuck with this room. Best thing was that we only had to spend one night there.

The location is great, its close to lots of interesting places and is a 15 minutes walk to the central station. It was rather cheap compared to other places and the beds where comfortable

I had asked for a quiet room with twin beds. The room faced the main road so lots of noise from trams, traffic and people. Double bed only available. Room on the basic side with tea/coffee facilities in shared area.

We flew from Sydney to Amsterdam and arrived at the hotel around 8.30am. We asked to have a room earlier than 3pm check in and the staff let us have one by 1pm. Very tired from flight and awake 29hours.

There is 76 stair steps to arrive to the room. If you want to go to the reception, you have 56 stair steps too. Because the reception is in the another building..

Strange smell in the room, Almost sewer like and wasn’t great to walk into after a long day of travelling. Strange stains and marks on the bedding, walls and furniture. Bathroom bin wasn’t emptied until our second night in the hotel.

Was not aware of the houses by canals - 3 flights of very steep, narrow stairs a bit much for women in their 60s! Aware the room had no view, but not aware it was basically a cupboard with no window or much air. In this hot weather, the room was stifling despite the fans which didn’t work well. The shower room needs re-thinking - very small and water goes everywhere. Has already damaged the door frame, door and flooring.

Location excellent for where we wanted to go. Kept very clean, cleaner was lovely, friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable.

don’t have lift and a lot of stairs (many stairs), reception is in different place the rooms, so you need to go up and go down for the stairs… the tv and hair dryer doesn’t works… don’t have fan or A/C in the room and was so hot (32 degrees), the window wasn’t enough to be fresh and the street is so noise… very expensive place to be in a bad place! better spend same value or more but for a better place!
