Like a lot of houses in Amsterdam the stairs are quite steep so you need to take care but having your own entrance was good.

Our host was very nice and met us at the apartment to show us around the facilities and give us some recommendations for eating. The apartment location was great very central, and being on the corner very bright and roomy. Fully fitted kitchen and having a washer/dryer a great bonus.

The stairs were ok but typical in amsterdam. If older or have walking issues, might not be the best.

Stairs could be a problem for some people, however are probably normal for older Amsterdam properties.

Great location, well equiped kitchen and laundry facilities. A relatively large apartment by Amsterdam standards. Host was friendly and helpful.

The cleanliness wasn’t on a great level, especially considering the price. There was some leftover hair in the bathroom drawers. The grey couch was stained all over, as well as the carpet. The kitchen cabinet handles were sticky, as well as a part of the countertop. This kind of ruined our stay.

We were welcomed by our host Alex who helped us carry our luggage upstairs. She was super friendly and ready to answer all our questions. The apartment is very spacious with a lot of natural light. It is equipped with everything you need either for a shorter or a longer stay. The double bed is cozy. The location is great, close to many main attractions. There are many shops and a huge supermarket in the surrounding streets as well as many bars and restaurants.

We had a great stay here. The apartment was really light and airy, and so much bigger than in the photos. It was in a lovely quiet street but in easy walking distance from everywhere. The owner was very helpful and friendly and we would love to come back again.

The location was perfect for exploring Amsterdam. We were close to all the main attractions and were able to walk everywhere. The apartment was comfortable and warm which was important as the weather was cold and rainy at times. The shower was hot and powerful. The kitchen was well supplied but we either ordered food or ate out. There was a supermarket around the corner. Just a point to know you could not use a credit card in there so only euros or debit card. It was easy to find and only 10 mins walk from the bus station. We were met by the owner.

A really great area to stay. Many small independent shops. Supermarket a few minutes away. Very easy tor each from the airport (direct bus 397 which stops about 5 min walk away from the flat)

We liked everything!

The property was exactly as described in the text and photos - but it was actually more spacious than the photos suggested. It was like having a "home from home" in the centre of Amsterdam - very comfortable, warm and equipped with everything you could possible need. The owners lived just upstairs and were very welcoming and available to help if required. The apartment is located very near to the Prinsengracht, not much more than a 5 minute walk to Dam and closer to 10 minutes to Centraal Station. There are two good supermarkets on Elandsgracht, just 50m away and an excellent cake shop. The Elandsgracht Bus Station is at the end of this street where you can get the Express Bus (397) to the airport.
