The kitchen on the roof is open air but has no fan so it gets really hot. I couldn’t cook for more than a few minutes before sweating a lot! And there are ants. These weren’t major but it wasn’t comfortable to cook. And someone stole my beers in the fridge which wasn’t cool!

The staff are great, the king room was comfortable and spacious. The roof was cool with yoga twice daily, and the restaurant area is a great place to chill. And the location is excellent.

We had booked the room for 4 people, but the futon left for one of our kids was small. Parking on the street, with parking fee.

Very friendly English-speaking and talkative staff. Great laid-back and generous vibe! Clean and creatively organized room and lobby. We even had a large balcony! Kitchen area on the roof top with shared fridge. Not being in the party centre is a good thing if you want to be able to sleep.

Unfortunately the noise reduction in the room is very poor. You can hear the music and people talking in the downstair reataurant 100% to the room. Also the front door doorbell rings during the night and woke us up many times. The shower pressure is so low that you can get more wet by walking in the rain outside. All in all I don’t think this is worth the price we paid for the stay.

The place is cosy and the private room was big. Was nice to have the opportunity to use the shared kitchen and there is free water in every floor. Good location. + The hotel cat is cute!

Two of the 6 beds in the dorm do not have power points and you'll end up having to charge your phone in the bathroom

Poorly trained staff. They are more like backpackers doing a work exchange, rather than a professional staff.

Daily activities like yoga, Spanish lessons, capoeira. I got a really affordable single room.

The air-condition blows directly on the bed and it was not possible to adjust.

I like the location as it is close to the 5th road and not too far away from diving centers.

i didnt understand ”the pool” 😀 but i didnt so much need it so all good. no one was ever in it so i dont know if it was just a decoration.

No curtains at the beds, therefore no privacy feeling at all. Unfortunately sleeping was hard as the hostel bar was super noisy until 3 am. if you’re going to Del Carmen for party vacation, I can recommend the hostel. As I only had a one day Cancun airport stopover and needed some sleep, staying there was a mistake. If you intend to get some rest, search for another place.

Great location, easy check-in. Works for a short stay.

Took about 20 mins to check in even though I arrived at 1am and was checking out in the morning. Top bunk you can roll straight off onto the floor

Staff really friendly. They had yoga classes on the rooftop daily. It was clean and comfortable.

I wish I had somewhere to lock my valuables in my room. I trusted my room mates, but it would have been awkward if I didn’t as I would always have to carry my iPad and cash with me.

the dorm room could have been cleaner. the bathrooms weren’t cleaned everyday and toilet paper wouldn’t be restocked. the room is also pretty small, so with 6 people and their belongings, doesn’t give a lot of room

the property itself is nice. the staff is really friendly. great coffee downstairs with a nice seating area. they give yoga and other classes at the hotel which is really nice! the location is good, walking distance to everything. I would stay here again, just not in the dorm room.

The one minus is that the sound isolation wasn’t so good: you could hear the other guests in the hallway very well, and a bit from the other rooms. (And the Germany lady in the reception was not very friendly, but the Spanish-speaking guy was amazingly friendly so he made up for it!)

It was often very noisy in the evenings but with earplugs I slept well. There was no room cleaning.

Room was spacious and comfortable and had a nice little balcony. Staff was friendly. Location of the hotel was great as it is close to 5th Avenue.

There were a couple of nights that people in the hostel were pretty noisy at 2-4 in the morning. There was a strong smell in the bathroom, the room was pretty damp and though the AC worked, the fan did not. The shower flooded and nobody cleaned our room in our 15-day stay.

The location was exceptional, near the city center and the beach, but no so near you could hear the noise of downtown pubs and restaurant music. The staff was very accomodating and kind. Wifi connection was great and the room we got after they told us there had been an overbooking was better than the one we'd booked originally. In general the neighborhood is pretty quiet, and that's good. They have an amazingly cute black cat called Oreo :)
