The room had only a really small window which made it hard to keep ventilated. Also it was pointed to the main lobby which lets you hear absolutely everything that happened outside. Too much noise if you are a light sleeper.

The whole surrounding area felt safe. Very friendly and helpful staff. Every time we left or returned we were greeted with a smile. We had the big room with a kitchen. Comfortable room! I appreciated that there was a mirror with a chair and outlet for me to straighten my hair and get ready outside of the bathroom. AC worked well. It was very clean. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Queretaro.

Our room was right at the entrance, so after about 7:00 AM we could hear the other guests and staff moving around. However, that did not bother us too much.

The hotel was really well located, right at heart of historical Queretaro. There are many cafes and restaurants around. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was good and everything was clean.

I had to change rooms as the first one (ground floor at the back) suffered from an unpleasant noise of a motor (maybe the water pump) all night.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Big room, good bathroom. Decent WiFi. Good looking old building.

The access to the parking is a little confusing, because the hotel is in a pedestrian street, so we ended up parking the car elsewhere.

The location is centric and quiet at night. The bed was super comfortable, and the room very clean.

My room had only the smallest of windows on to an interior courtyard hallway.

Location was perfect, right at the historic center. I got the most basic room, size a bit small but the bed was clean and comfortable. The building itself looks beautiful.

Nothing controllable, but my room overlooked the cathedral and at around 7 am on Sunday, the bells started ringing!!! So....I'd take ear plugs just in case

One of the rooms we were shown toward the back was older and had a window that allowed noise from the guest patio below to filter up.

The room was spotlessly clean and modern, with a nice bathroom and good shower. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our room. We initially were worried about the lively pedestrian street in front of the hotel but the room was well sound proofed and the street was quiet by ten. The location is perfect for exploring this beautiful historic city.

The deluxe queen room was a little smaller than expected, and the bed was a double, not queen size. Not a dealbreaker as the room and bed were quiete comfortable.

The location of Hotel Madero is perfect. Right in the center of town on a walking street with restaurants, parks and museums right out the door. Comfortable and quiet rooms, and the staff was nice. I enjoyed my stay here.

This is a beautiful historic hotel with modern amenities. The location is perfect for exploring central Queretaro, and the staff is amazing. Dulce Marie at the front desk is the best she was so helpful she made our stay amazing.

The parking system can be a complicated during "rush" hours.

The only negative concerns the location. Since it is on the pedestrian walkway, you will have to walk about a hundred meters or so from your car/uber/taxi. It's not far but when we left at 4:00 am it was dark and my wife was scared.

The room was very large with many extras that I didnt expect like a functioning kitchen! The location is right in the center of the main pedestrian walkway of the old city.
