Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyPillows not very comfortable, the room cleaning process was a bit “invasive”: half-full bottles of water and plastic bags we wanted to re-use were thrown away, clothes we left in the room where put in the wardrobe without asking.
Good position, friendly and helpful staff (Abdu was great!) cleanliness, nice terrace, good breakfast

United KingdomProperty is great , location is really central just off one of the main streets heading directly to the square. We had a really enjoyable stay., Abdu and Mona were great hosts , so friendly and welcoming. On our arrival Abdu met us from the taxi drop off and escorted us to the property where we were welcomed with tea and cake. Breakfast was good and the sun terrace had lovely rocking chairs. Thank you for a lovely stay.

IndiaBath rooms did not have exhaust. We had a very bad experience getting to the Riad. As per Google Maps our driver reached a point from where we would have to make it on foot to the Riad. We managed to get hold of the receptionist on phone who agreed to come to meet us . After about 30 m of waiting we tried to call the reception and found no reply. Our Driver said he would handle it with local help and found two local youths who were ready to prey on unsuspecting tourists. Although our driver was a Moroccan Berber, he could do little as the local boys asked 200 MD for pushing our bags and kicked up a row in front of the closed Riad door with the help of other locals. In the end we paid 100MD after the receptionist Mr.Nasser, returned -he had gone looking for us- - probably to the opposite side from where we had approached! However on the way back Mdm.Mona of the Riad was kind enough to escort us and drag a strolley bag for us to the Jemma... Other visitors would do well to contact the Hotel before hand and find ways and means to get to the hotel without incident. If you can handle your own luggage and trudge for about 400 m, no issues. Also be wary of the locals at Marrakech ..no wonder there are many policemen in the medina and Marrakech in general ....
Close to the main square ,Jemaa el Fnaa--400steps from the opening. In the medina, means it is surrounded by shops and people! You can buy food, water et al any time ... Plus some importaant tourists attractions within walking distance of the Riad. In fact our 4 hrs. WALKING day tour started from Riad Dar Pamella!!The rooms were comfortable, Mr.Nasser and Mdm.Mona very polite, hospitable and caring.

ItalyWe had a standard room and our only window faced the ground floor courtyard, where everybody passed. So we almost didn't open the window ever.
The staff was very kind and the riad is beautiful and secluded, despite being in the very heart of the medina.

United Kingdomthe manager was pleasant enough although far too pushy trying to sell dinners and other things. My flight was delayed so it was only on the next day that I realised that I hadn’t been given the right room - paid for a larger room with direct access to patio and toiletries etc. the manager kept away from me once I had complained to his staff and then when I found him the day I was leaving and said “you gave me the wrong room” he looked sheepish and said “yes” - no apology. I would stay there again but do check that you get what you’ve paid for!
well kept, great location, very clean. charming and friendly lad to working in the kitchen and friendly breakfast waiter. taxi driver was reliable and very nice

Latviathis was the first riad (we stayed in around 10different ones) where it felt like we have not left the medina market. The receptionist- guy- was so annoying- he tried to sell us everything. I wouldnt say that he knew english- but it didn’t stop him from never ending monologue about things we didn’t care about or were not interested in. Also,- if you want peace and relaxation- this is not the place- they have crazy loud AC on the terrace- so you cannot enjoy chill rooftop evening. Or in the mornings- next door they have a school or kinder-garden- if you are into 100kids learning to sing arabic- this is the place! also the sheets had holes.
Riad is in great location- clean and nice looking.
