It felt like it was trying to be more up-market than it really is. The rooms were dated and missing basics that one would expect at the price point : Toilet paper, pool towels, tea or coffee to go with the jug that was provided. While everything we asked for was provided, some shouldn’t have had to be asked for. The main pool complex doesn’t open till 10am and staying guests dont get to use it any earlier - important to note if checking out at 10am or hoping to miss the crowds that pour into the pools in weekend. Note: This is a really popular place for locals to come for a big day out in the weekends, so it can get seriously busy! We had dinner the first night in the ‘restaurant’ after telling them we would do so. No restaurant hours were provided to us, so we got to restaurant just after 7pm. Our group of 6 were the only diners but it took over 90 minutes to get meals, and not even drinks brought out before then! The 3 kids were completely exhausted by the time dinner actually arrived that no one really enjoyed it. We didn’t eat there the rest of the time. Breakfast isn’t included in the price.

The pools, both the private guests pool and the main complex with water slides is a lot of fun for older kids / teens. The pools made this the favourite accomodation spot for this trip for the 13yr old in our party. The gardens were beautiful and the serenity of watching the sun rise over the rice fields was very special. Rooms were good sized, with roomy bathrooms, working AC, comfortable beds and each had a fridge and a jug. There was a washing machine - but no clothes line to hang anything to dry. Overall we did enjoy the stay at Leisure Land as it was somewhere quite different, but it was quite pricey compared to other places we stayed in Sri Lanka.

Beautiful green surroundings. The pools are great. Spacious and clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Galle is close enough by TukTuk. All in all great value for money.

The public pool itself was not cleaned and maintained. It was generally opened for public, and is especially full with locals during the weekends, making it hard to enjoy ourselves due to the abundance of people. In addition, due to the busy lunch time, the kitchen was reluctant to serve us during dinner time, and when they did serve us, they took an unreasonable amount of time for even a sandwich: this left us with a bitter taste as we were the only guests within premises that evening and the resort was located in a secluded area, which left us relying on the kitchen for its services. The main slide was under construction, but you could still use it from the halfway mark.

Absolutely enjoyed the private pool by the rooms, and the public pool was an absolute joy to enjoy and spend the day in. The staff were kind and willing to accommodate to our needs and requests. The rooms were decent-sized and had the required amenities.

The pool was open for people outside the hotel, i was not aware. The visitors where almost only from Sri Lanka and they didnt see women in bikini a lot i suppose 🙃 maik slide is not finished but you can start using it halfway. Owner tolld me that they will finish end of the year.

Super awesome design of the pools, it is large and well designed with caves and waterfalls. Owner and his family is really friendly. Just a great stop in our journey. We looked with our simple bedroom into the ricefields with a large varaan. Shower was outside.l and really good looking. Food was lovely, it was served in our bungalow.

We really enjoyed our stay in Leisure Land. We stayed 4 nights and we are a family of 4. We stayed during the week and it was very calm and relaxing. We recommend avoiding weekends as it’s gets very busy. The owner, Ravi was an amazing host. We arrived early in the morning and checkin to our room was not until 2pm so he gave us a room to sleep and rest in until our room was ready. He also gave us a tour around his land and surprised us with lots of delicious treats and drinks throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms had a great patio area with lovely natural views. This is where we ate breakfast. The rooms had comfy beds and beautiful outside bathrooms. We highly recommend Leisure Land for families as the outside area and pools were great fun.

Room was not ready on arrival at correct checkin time. For the price I would expect breakfast to be included.

Beautiful view from the room, bed was super comfy and the one serving staff were really lovely. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and it was all superb.

the room was a little bid dirty. but its also middle in the jungle. so you can’t expect the luxury.

the amazing flora you get there with different animals hidden in the jungle/ garden and offcourse the swimmingpool with so many activities. you will not get bored.

The maintenance needs improvments. We paid by cash and the rate exchange they gave us was 240rs for 1 dollar and at a previous accomodation we has 205rs for 1 dollar.

The yard, the tea plantation, AC, the pool with all the activities you coul do. At the checkout they gave us a pinanple from the garden and they made from the leaves surrounding the yard.

Nowhere to buy snacks or drinks. Buffet hall grim, food okay. We were not happy we had construction work going on around our room. They did refund one night to say sorry though.

At Check-in when we arrived, they took our payment straight away then told us there was an event on that day and that slides were closed for 2 hours. That was the only information we got about the whole resort. Not a great start. The room was very, very basic. It says it has AC, flat screen tv and tea and coffee making. However the AC wouldn’t work and would leak when it did. TV wouldn’t work Tea/ coffee was non existent in the room only kettle and cup. Eventually all was fixed but it took a long time with people coming and going in our room to fix everything that we lost a few hours of playtime once slides did open. Mattress very hard, very uncomfortable. Power went off overnight and generator also didn’t work so had to sleep in a very hot room without AC and nobody around to advise. There was No menu available to us so you would have no idea what food was on offer. Apart from the 2/3 hours we were finally able to enjoy the slides, The whole stay was not relaxing or enjoyable and we ended up checking out earlier than expected as I just wanted to leave at that point. This place has so much potential but very, very badly managed. Which is a shame. I would suggest go there on a day pass as you can have great fun on the slides etc without the hassle and unnecessary stress of staying there overnight.

The water park facilities and rope swings. The staff

When we arrived the girl on reception said that our apartment is busy and they can give us another one. But it was only room 4 times smaller than the one we booked, moreover there was no pool and no view there. when i asked the girl why she didn’t text me that the room is busy, she said she didn’t want me to be sad!!! but i was sad anyways when i arrived... it was 3 pm, but the room was still dirty(check in is 2 pm). so we waited for a wile and then have to find another place to stay. it was so sad for us because our baby liked the pools so much and we wanted to stay there((
