I would have ranked it as a 10 if it wasn´t for the poor service. I sent a message confirming the arrival time, and no one was at the property when we arrived. After a couple of hours (we just assumed which rooms were ours) someone came to do the check-in. During midnight I also sent a message because other guests were being EXTREMELY loud in the kitchen (despite many times asking them to be quiet as it was late and we wanted to sleep) and no one ever replied to my message. I guess your stay will also be affected based on how other guests behave because you can hear everything if you stay in the rooms next to the Kitchen.

The house is beautiful, great location if you want to do the diamond circle, BIG bedrooms, and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking (you have everything you need) and the dining room offers stunning views. Also very friendly dogs!

The only thing I would have to comment on was the water pressure of one of the showers. A part from that, excellent.

The host was very friendly, the house was a dream and the breakfast was delicious. Also, the views were breathtaking. You can tell they care and they are proud of their guesthouse and farm. It was a pleasure being there!

Beautiful house with two bedrooms but actually can fit in 6 people. We have luck that night and met the northern light. Owner also offered us to visit the cow farm

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm guesthouse. Everything was perfectly clean, the beds were comfy, the kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom is practical and very clean as well. The high note of our stay was of course the breakfast buffet, which was amazing. Homemade products, savory and sweet food, there’s everything you can hope for. We even were able to purchase homemade ice-creams when we arrived, and they were delicious! It’s also perfectly located close to lake Mývatn.

The wifi in the apartment could have been better. There was wifi, but low coverage made the connection very unstable.

We absolutely loved staying here. The guesthouse is lovely, the kitchen is huge and room was basic but still felt very cosy. We saw the northern lights perfectly, what a great location! There was also 2 farm dogs running around, who were so friendly and cute! The free breakfast in the morning was amazing as well. This is probably our favourite guest stay in Iceland! Highly recommend!

Not a dealbreaker but the shared kitchen would do better with more utensils and pots and pans

Excellent location. We miissed the Northern lights. That was because it didn't happen during our stay here. The views would've been fantastic from here. The rooms were sparkling clean, beds comfortable, warm floor and even heating. And an incredibly good breakfast. The freshness of the ingredients come through
