Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Russia-if you live on the first floor you need to draw curtans to provide your own privacy -In Ubud many houses that rent rooms don't provide kettles in a room instead they have thermos with hot water
-location is excellent, in the center, walkable Monkey forest as well as Ubud Palace -on the territory of a house there is a traditional house temple. Nice architecture -the rooms are simple and correspond to a price

GermanyCosy room away from the hustle of the city with tea and coffee on the patio. There was no running water one day but they fixed it as soon as possible and let me use their bathroom. In case you struggle with heat - the fan was not so powerful but the cold showers make it easy to cool down!

United KingdomThere was nothing I didn't like, particularly given the value for money.
I spent 3 weeks recently at Ubud Canti. The location was superb and everything was within walking distance - the Palace, ridge walks, the Monkey Forest, The Yoga Barn, shops (including a big supermarket), restaurants, markets (day and night markets), temples etc etc. The views from the balcony were amazing and the staff, although not speaking very much English, were very kind, helpful and friendly. The language was not a barrier due to translation apps and accessibility to staff/people to help. I was travelling alone and felt very safe walking everywhere and really enjoyed my stay at Ubud Canti. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Nyoman was a great host, who warmly greeted me on arrival. She was available to help with questions. The room was very clean with a balcony that overlooked the family temples. The room was in a fantastic location in the centre of Ubud but also quiet. Excellent value for the price.

UkraineIn the room downstairs was a "girl" from Russia, which had very active night job . She was never sleeping at the room, and every day spoke so loud by telephone with others "college" about her customers last night and how much she got every night. Also about bad Indonesia and great job and money in Thailand. Unlikely I can understand russian and had to listen to all this awful things. But of course, no questions to the owner, because they have no idea who rents the room.
Best for this money. They only have 4 rooms, good separated. Also small simple kitchen, with the fridge, what was very useful. The owners don't disturb, like it is oft in homestays. Not noisy at night, no dogs and chickens, like everywhere in Ubud.

United KingdomThere were a pile of dead bugs trailing from the shower handles to the floor and a large cockroach was alive and stuck there. The doors were also not so great to lock. You could lean on them too hard and they would pop open even though locked. Also only one plug socket and it was hanging out of the wall and only worked if you plugged you cable in and lent the table against it to keep the plug in the wall.

Absolutely recommended. Best location, very charming inmidst temples, the room comes with huge beautiful balcony, spotless clean, hot water 24h, towels, free coffee and tea, maximum privacy but staff always around. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Will come again.
