No Wi-Fi, bathroom

Still garden and pool are very nice, AC working good, the building needs lot of maintenance..

Wifi was pointless and rarely if ever worked. Owners should just go with Starlink and be done with it! The Tokay lizard in the bathroom scared the crap out of me!! It's noise was something else! In the end I grew to love the sound because I associated it with the whole experience but no one warned me. Luckily my Indonesian wife was at hand to explain and laugh at my fear!

This part of the world is paradise. It's beautiful, serene yet dramatic and somewhere that you can recharge in. It's stunning especially the sunsets. After getting the taxi from Bima and crossing the mountain jungles to get there, the sight of the Sumba Sea will take your breath away. Treehouse is a beautiful addition and great care has been taken in its looks and it fits in. Oh and the monkeys just up the road are awesome too!!! Aircon was good and powerful (and necessary!) This place is an undiscovered gem and I almost feel bad about telling folk about it here. BUt come. See it. Even if you don't surf.

If you’re there for surfing it is probably a little too far away from the main breaks

It was right on the beach with amazing views and a large pool. The staff there were amazing and tended to all our needs. Good to get along with and helped us learn the local language

Everything was great! Breakfast was tasty. The staff were amazing fun and helpful. View is great and room was very comfortable. Ac worked great. Little far away from town but with a motorbike easily accessible. Couple fun waves out front. Only downside is wifi/data is currently down but they are in process of fixing it.

Made to look like infornt of lakey peak 10 min scooter ride, super deceiving. No reception and no wifi looking at other reviews looks like wifi had been down for a few months with no attempt to fix. Constant power cuts. Not secure rooms and balcony door didn't lock neither did bathroom which was accessible from out side. No breakfast which was supposed to be included in our room. No restaurant as advertised, 10 min drive. They also allow public access to pool and people to camp on lawn so be prepared for 4 am praying with a large blue tooth speaker out side you room. No response from owner... this should be removed from booking.com

Considering what we paid for a week the property (although has lots of potential) is very run down. A little love would go a long way. The bathroom is not sealed so were multiple cockroaches in there every night. When we arrived the staff had no idea we were coming even though we previously booked. The wifi is absolutely nonexistent which is a bummer specially since there is no service. Not terrible but the reviews definitely are not accurate to what you arrive to.

A bit far out if you are there for the surf but beautiful view specially if you have the balcony and garden was lovely.

Wi-fi and bathroom could be better

We had a super good experience in The Tree House Sumbawa. The staff is simply amazing, they help us and took care of us in all our needs. A special thank’s for Irfan that is a super good person, with a big heart, what made this experience fabulous. The room is cozy, clean, with a good ocean view and pool view. The breakfast is very nice. A big thanks also to Ryni for all the laughs and coconuts. Hope to see this crew again

The bathroom could be renovated. It looked old and also the hot water wasn’t always working. The breakfast included was tasty but not many options. Just basically omelet and toast with black coffee.

The staff were a stand out for sure. Mr Dona was super attentive and helpful with everything, constantly asking if I needed anything. He helped me to hire a scooter and even drove me to Dompu charging a super low fare. The staff from the kitchen/cleaner Devi was also super friendly and caring. Besides, the property is a oasis, super quiet and calm. It was amazing to sleep and wake up with the sound of the ocean. Another highlight was the bed: extra big and comfortable

When we arrived, the room we had already paid for in advance was not available. So we stayed one night in a cheaper, not very nice room with a bunkbed. In the end we stayed one extra night in the right room and paid the first night in cash. But that was the solution we proposed, since they told us we couldn't get a refund for the first night. They didn't bother to offer a good solution for us. The management of the bookings is a complete mess, it happens very often that guests arrive and the staff is very surprised and there is no room available. Even when the house was completely full, you would still find 3 rooms on booking.com. WiFi doesn't really work. Most of the guests didn't get towels, we were lucky to get one for two people. Very often there is no drinking water to refill bottles. Overall, with a little renovation and a better management of the bookings this place could be amazing. Right now, I would say it's not great value for the price.

The garden and the location are absolutely beautiful! The deluxe sea view room is nice and has a very comfortable bed. Overall, the place has a nice vibe.
