1. Breakfast is not buffet type. They make you choose from their combo options. Portion size is not great. 2. Lighting in the room can be better 3. No refrigerator in the room

Staff is excellent and very helpful 6. Food is exceptionally good 7. Massage was good, not great, but it was in the open and not closed doors. However, they gave the option to get the massage done in our rooms itself, which was a flexible choice.

Immersed in the jungle, a truly exceptional experience. The staff is just wonderful, especially the restaurant staff and the reception staff were brilliant. Good is also brilliant (we had dinner in the restaurant every evening). In the middle of the island so you need a scooter but that just adds to the experience! We would definitely come back, best price/value ever! We loved every aspect of it but be aware that bamboo house in the middle of the jungle means geckos might be taking to you during the night ;)

This property had absolutely incredible staff who go way beyond. They are so lovely and helpful and love to chat. The location is secluded and beautiful, and the restaurant is excellent. Highly recommend! We especially loved Sherry who was so kind and helpful. Thank you!

The rooms were quite exposed to the elements so we often had different critters in our room which put us slightly on edge. We had a gecko in our room which makes a really loud noise and we were unable to sleep. The team did move us to another room and quickly rectified the issue. The bedding often feels damp and the towels don’t smell good so would consider using a different laundry wash. It is about a 30 min drive from the hotel to get to wherever you need to go. Transport is a bit more pricey than Bali but the team are happy to help organise.

If you want to be submersed in the middle of the jungle then this is the place for you. The pool, restaurant and staff were lovely. The team were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The Nasi goreng at breakfast was delicious. The yoga studio was clean and beautiful so we could enjoy a peaceful workout.

You feel like your in the jungle! The rooms were clean, smelt nice and had great facilities! The outdoor shower was stunning

It is a very restful place… However, it’s built on a slope, so there are lots of steps. That was fine for me; I was just aware that a few of my infirm friends would not be able to come and stay here.

The place is beautiful, and full of friendly butterflies! I love the staff! Very friendly and helpful, particularly Sherry at the front Reception. She gave me all kinds of insights about the culture and about possible activities! The Food at the restaurant was excellent. It was so wonderful to hear the rain on the bamboo walls… Everything was restful about the place… And it has good air conditioning in the rooms as well!

The place of the hotel is reachable by scooter but its in the middle of the island, 30 min ride from everything. Also, the breakfast options are limited but the food is ok.

The personell is so friendly and nice. We visited in feb and the hotel was quite and relaxed. The pool view is amazing. Overall the vibe is really relaxed and in the middle of the jungle. The bungalows are something different than regular hotel room which makes it unique

lovely experience in the middle of the jungle! the place is even better than the pictureson nooking, super clean and with excellent services. we had a driver that came and picked us up, the staff at the resort was super attentive to each and every need we had.

The resort is located in the centre of Nusa Penida, and is quite far from the well established and well visited areas closer to the harbour. This makes it far away from restaurants, supermarkets and convinience stores. There is a restaurant on site, and one warung about 10 minutes away. However, this isolation might suit those who are looking for a private, relaxing stay.

The staff at Mesare are the best. They are friendly and accomodating, and will make sure you are well taken care of. The food at the resort is absolutely delicious - I tried both the breakfast and dinner menus. The jungle ambience of the resort is very lush and relaxing.

Our room could have used a bit of a deep clean - when we checked in I had a feeling the room was cleaned after the previous guests checked out and there was a space of days between our check in. There was definitely a stale smell in the room as well. The room also had ants which I think it’s quite normal given the location. And we wish we had teas in the room (there was only coffee).

We loved the location of the resort which is in the middle of the island so you can get to the north or south beaches in the same distance. The pool was amazing and the surrounding jungles as well. Staff was friendly and our bed was comfortable :)

Missed a shuttle bus service atleast it could go once a day

Maybe, the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner should refill on every day as after 2-3 days you can use it in totally .

The villa is in the middle of island, in the jungle, but easy to arrive there by car ( they offer you transfer from port until villa extra charge, but cheap ). The pool and restaurant is very clean, but, the sun is until 15:00 at the pool, so you can not stay more at sun on the villa. Staff can offer you different activities : transfer, rent a scooter, day trip on different location on the island. Resort have also restaurant with the very cheap price for different food. For the breakfast, you can choose on the previous night and in the next morning, the staff will give you very quick breakfast to not spend a lot of time. I didn't try massage, but, last time where i was here, i tried and is very profesional. See you next time!

The first night we slept really bad because a gecko was right above our room and made lot’s ot noise. But solution was great: we were inmediately changed rooms and told that next time we could just call during the night as there is always someone at reception and could have been dealt immediately.

The food was delicious, particularly main courses and the rooms were nice and large and the hotel offered many free activities. We did yoga and trekking in the jungle. Shery was amazing with us!!! She ensured that our stay there was a really memorable one. Also great connection for work meetings.
