A lovely stay owned by lovely two local Indonesia guys. Very clean and has all that you need. Free water refills, great AC, comfy beds, a chilling space outside, towels provided, free coffee and tea, pancakes for breakfast, great water pressure.

Candra and the other staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The hostel is very chill and small but still social. The room had great AC and the bathroom was clean. I also liked how there were only 3 beds in my room.

Candra, the host was so so friendly! He has so much knowledge about everything, tours, recommendations, places to go etc... He really cares about you and the place and try his best for everyone. Also the hostel is really clean and a good place to be. Absolutely loved my stay here!

As most places are on the island, it’s close to loud mosque, but we slept better the second night. The hotel changed hands around a year ago and is still being renovated. Would have been helpful to have another table or two in the room, but we just moved the one in the balcony instead for our stay.

For it being a relatively inexpensive hotel/hostel, it was a 10 for us. The staff is super nice and attentive. Bed is comfortable. Room is good size. Liked having balcony with two chairs and a table. It’s definitely not a party hostel and they foster a mellow vibe with soothing music. It’s in quiet area, but only about 10 minute walk to main road on east coastline with tons going on. Definitely consider the night market for low cost grilled seafood that was very tasty.

Great ac in room

The best hostel on Gili T for a chilled vibe and family feeling. Candra is very knowledgeable about the island and Indonesian history, we did a great sunset walk up to a view point and he showed us a Japanese bunker.

The owner was absolutely amazing, he took a few of us staying there for a sunset hike over the hill to the west side of the island, telling us some history along the way and recommending bars, food places and offered help organising boat transfers and activities. He also made everyone banana pancakes in the morning and introduced us to his two resident cats

The only baf thing we can say was the drain smell after a shower but you can shut the bathroom door and it’s fine.

The owner was really nice and helped us out eith booking our trips, the breakfast was included and really good. Bed was comfortable and room was clean

The hospitality of Candra and Ferry (sorry if I’ve spelt a name wrong) along with the amazingly yummy breakfast that fills you up for most of the day. Also met great people there so it’s a wonderful place to be social.

I would 100% recommend this hostel, it really made my holiday in Gili Islands much more special. I felt immediately welcomed, breakfast was the best start of the day, water and tea available all the time was pretty great too. It's close to everything but far from the noise of clubs and bars. The room was cozy, clean and had everything I needed. Last but not least, the staff are great, Candra is really friendly and helpful, with great tips about tours and about Indonesia in general, as he's been a tour guide for long time. I knew about the proximity to a mosque when I booked but I didn't really mind, as I often sleep with earphones and got used to it while travelling in Indonesia.

We really enjoyed our stay with Chandra. The rooms were lovely and clean, and not a far walk to the main beaches/attractions. We looked forward to the banana pancakes every morning, and had a constant supply of water/coffee for free- which was very convenient. Chandra took us for a nice sunset walk with the other guests and we had a great night. He also gave us great local tips like where to spot turtles and booked our snorkelling trip for us. We were very happy with our stay and are looking forward to returning.

There is a mosque just few meters away. Every morning 5:00 they have prayers ,quite loud. Some people might get awakened by it. But I never felt disturbed from it.

The location is good very close to the main street. The room was tidy and clean. The breakfast is just a pancake, but deliciously homemade, thick and tasteful, good enough to start your day. Free coffee and Tea outside the room, also free water. Chandra, the manager, organised everything for us, one excursión for seeing the sunset together with the hostel guests, introducing each other. Snorkeling day, laundry service, ferry back to Bali, and bicycle rental, at a competitive price. He is helpful and treats his guests to make them feel at home. Definitely, a place to come back to, and I highly recommend trying it on your first stay in Gili Trawangan.

Call to prayer in the morning is quite loud, but didn’t really bother anyone.

Super welcoming host and one of the most sociable hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Candra invited everyone on a walk to the sunset, via a viewpoint on the island and introduced the guests to each other. Lots of tips with places to go.

You can hear the prayers of the mosque quite loudly (but this is difficult to avoid in the island)

I can't stress how nice (and interesting!) the owner Candra is. It is not a party hostel and yet you don't miss the socializing aspect as you delve into laid back conversations with Candra and other visitors. The room itself was also comfortable and the breakfast was also decent. If you're looking for a small getaway from party hostel, this is a place I recommend!
