Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BulgariaI guess for the price I paid (which was not a lot compared to other places) I got what it was worth it. The bed was really uncomfortable and I had only 1 pillows which ‘broke my neck’. I felt there were lots of mosquitos and bugs - maybe because the bathroom was outside. Overall it was okay for 1 night and maybe the room I booked was not the best, compared to others.
Tesa and Andy were so accommodating and caring. Made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I had a single room booked which had everything I needed.

SingaporeThe wifi coverage in the room could be much better. It was quite patchy and I had to go outside a few times just to take my calls or send emails.
The staff were really friendly and attentive, the bed comfortable and the mosquito nets do help a lot. The cafe area has good food and coffee. It's a super peaceful area away from the main road, and you mostly just hear sounds of nature, which can be really relaxing.

The location was quiet and peaceful. It was lovely to be away from the noise and traffic whilst being within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The staff were very attentive to anything that we needed. The hotel also offered great facilities with the cafe and two swimming pools.

The Family room with two bedrooms and terrace was perfect for us. Nice and quite place to chill. Easy to ride to places all over Canggu.

This is our second time at chillhouse and we just love it! The wifi is great, 2 pools which are both clean. The room was clean. Location was perfect, short walk to Canggu strip. Super quiet! We where able to hire a scooter from reception too!

MalaysiaThe bathroom was cute but not comfortable. The water heater is not working very well. Wifi is terrible. The other staff were great but the one that checked us in could improve his attitude and communication skills. Our check in was also very slow, waited half an hour in the cafe where they did not turn the fan on despite the heat. The way to the room was a cobbled stone path with no shade, if it rains would be extremely inconvenient.
Location is fabulous, super easy to get a grab. Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating. The bed is comfortable and clean.

AustraliaIt’s too dated. The staff was nice but not trained properly. If you stay in the villa and face any issues, you have to go in person to talk to the office which is three minute walk. They barely reply to your text. The pool is huge but there were some white floating particles. I asked to clean it. A staff came but just left the same without telling me anything. I would have used two other pools in the property but they didn’t inform me which was so frustrating.
The BTS villa was huge for two people. It can accommodate more than ten ppl. It’s cozy and well decorated.

I would wish for a better common room area with nice options to relax and lay down, so people come together. Maybe more programme options than 1 yoga class that has to be prebooked and is only available in the morning.
