The staff was amazing and super kind. It was our first time traveling to Bali and it was the best! The Alena has surely an exceptional level of quality in all its facets. I will return to this resort for sure when I return to Bali.

There’s nothing I can say I disliked about this property. The only thing that I miss about my Bali trip is the time we had at This resort. Would definitely come back again

It was just heaven. We had such a great time here. Staff is so amazing and polite and always there if you need anything. The place itself is very neat and clean and rooms are very tidy as well. All together great hospitality we had there.

I think whenever they do fumigation, they should do it in verbal. Hotel left us a note on top of our bed saying fumigation was going to be done. My wife read it, but for some reason forgot to tell me. When fumigation started, i was sleeping by the pool, all of a sudden woke up with a massive noise and thick black smoke coming towards me. I had no idea what that was. My wife came out screaming saying they were fumigating and we needed to go inside. That's why i think this should be made clearer and maybe a bigger sign. Had i known this, i would have chosen to be outside the hotel, as it's pretty full on and im pretty sure, some of that smoke got inside the room through the gaps of the door. Also, once fumigation was done, unfortunetelly a lot little flyes started dying a falling all over our bed 😔 One last thing, i think mattres from private villa needs to changed, as it's kind of sinking in.

Staff was super nice, helpful and always had a smile of their face. Breakfast and room service were good. We stayed 3 nights and for our last night, we were upgraded to their private vila, which was super cool. They also have a nice jacuzzi.

I didn't like the fact that I wasn't able to stay at this property any longer. It was just that awesome.

Absolutely everything. From the moment we arrived at their property, until after we left, they made sure we were taken care of. Their amenities are top notch, property and rooms were amazing and quite clean, and their staff are very welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. This resort experience was designed with a lot of thought in mind for welcoming and making the customer feel very comfortable. This is easily the best stay I've done so far. Will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.

Last day it was no hot water in the bathtub and wi fi was weak.

The accomodation was great, stuff is very polite, they take care about everything, accomodation offers many activities, such as cooking clas, yoga etc. The hotel have a gym. Food is excelent. We recomend it.

The road to the resort is very bad, lots of taxis doesn’t want to go till the end and not drive u exactly to the entrance gate of the hotel. This is first 4stars resort I’m staying where u have to pay for your cappuccino/espresso coffee no matter u have included breakfast in the package, really not satisfied. The menu options also are small compared with the prices they ask. In general is overpriced for the service they provide.

Great facilities, both pools are lovely and clean. Very spacious rooms with soft and pillows. All staff members are very friendly and polite. I have been surprised from them for my bday with a flowers and complimentary desert with a candle 🙏

The distance to the main ubud, means a shuttle service was needed but there was no shuttle after 830 so we either had to have an early dinner or request an after hour shuttle which cost us extra money.

It's about a few km away from Ubud Center, and they have a free shuttle departing and picking up from the center. The entrance is not fancy but its a nice boutique hotel with two big pools and a big jacuzzi. Very calm and quiet. It is an enjoyable stay for honeymoon couples and families. We went as 3 couples and had a good relaxed time in the place. They have music on during the happy hour at the main pool. 2nd pool is a big one too which we enjoyed the most. We took the rooms with Super Deluxe with Garden View and it has a good-sized bedroom with a courtyard and a massive toilet with a bathtub, shower, and big cupboard to store your items (including a locker). The food is good at the restaurants and nothing to complain about. They even had some Indian food on the menu. The staff is very polite and welcoming.

While the restaurant and food were satisfactory, there is potential for improvement in both quality and variety. The food would benefit from an upscale in quality and a wider range of options. Additionally, it was noticeable that some of the ingredients seemed to be frozen rather than fresh. The restaurant staff and serving team would greatly benefit from more thorough training to elevate their standards. While the service provided was acceptable, it did not meet the level expected given the premium price of the accommodation we were in. One would anticipate a more refined level of service to match.

The gardens are absolutely stunning, with a lush and vibrant tropical beauty that is truly spectacular. Our villa with a private pool was amazing. The tranquil setting and private pool made for a totally relaxing experience.

The spa could have been a bit more luxurious for the price you pay. However, the massage itself was excellent. There are plenty of nicer, cheaper spas in Ubud.

The property is absolutely stunning! We stayed in the 1 bedroom private villa Surya. The room was very spacious. an amazing outdoor shower (still undercover) made you feel like you were showering in a little tropical oasis. The aircon was very cold. This is a must for those terribly hot and humid days. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we had in our 2 weeks in bali. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

They advise you to save water by not getting your towels washed every day. But you then have to run the water for a minimum of 5 minutes to get hot water out the shower.

The staff were all friendly and polite. Couldn't do enough for you.
