- The location is both a plus and a minus. While it offers an almost peaceful, remote setting, our check-in was a bit confusing as our villa was not at the main location, requiring us to drive back to move to the new place. - It's a 10-15 minute scooter drive to Canggu, with busy roads. There aren’t many amenities nearby, food delivery through apps like Gojek/Grab is available. - Breakfast involved a 5-10 minute walk (3’ scooter drive) with an option to have it at the villa. It wasn’t very practical, and the options were limited but acceptable. - Our tree house was near the entrance, so we were disturbed by neighbor's dogs barking all of night and noise from passing scooters, cars, and pedestrians. The thin walls made it difficult to sleep, which is the most crucial aspect of a hotel stay. Geckos were outside and inside, which was noisy but expected in a tropical place. - The experience didn't quite justify the high price. If a private pool isn't essential, consider booking other room options on their site. I also wish the hotel had provided recommendations for spas, restaurants, and other authentic experiences in the area.

We stayed for 2 nights at Grunn Canggu, and the experience mostly lived up to the charming tree house with stunning views of the rice fields and sunsets depicted in the pictures. + The space was very spacious for two people, with your own kitchen, living room, bedroom area, and a huge terrace upstairs. + It was reasonably clean, though the windows were a bit dirty. + The staff were very responsive and polite, answering all our questions and fulfilling requests promptly. We even rented a scooter through them. + Having a private pool was a great perk.

My family and I stayed at Grün Canggu Garden for three days and two nights, and it was a fantastic experience, especially for my 2-year-old child. It was a profound experience for him as he got to fully immerse himself in the power of nature, something he couldn't experience living in the city. Through this trip, he also learned English words like moon, stars, rice fields, motorcycles, frogs, mosquitoes, and more, which perfectly aligned with the purpose of our journey to Bali. During our stay, we were very grateful for the assistance from staff members like Deksu and Yuli. Not only were they friendly, but they also constantly checked on our well-being and experience. The next time we visit Bali, we will definitely revisit this place. Thank you.

I had the best 3 night stay at Grün Canggu Garden. What an experience to stay in treehouse-like villa. We stayed at Rhizopora Apiculata, it’s spacious with kitchen, dining room of four, has huge comfy sofa, with a balcony facing a ricefield where you can sit and watch the sunrise (didn’t get to watch the sunset because it was raining in the evening of my stay). The bed is nice with clean linen, nice bathroom with good hot water pressure! They provided water bottle, but the staff were so nice and attentive to my many request. Just text them, and they will get it to you asap. The breakfast choices were not many but good enough and delicious. You can have it in the restaurant or in the private of your villa. Shout out to all the staff, from the reception to the restaurant, you guys made our stay really memorable. The resort also provides motorbike for rent with normal rates. They have two public pools. I had good time swimming while sunbathing in both of the pools. The location is just nice. Not in the heart of Canggu, but close enough so its easy to reach all the Canggu hot places, but no traffic to get back to the resort. In front of the resort they have a minimart and a restaurant that can deliver (its delicous too!), and many good cafes along the way to the resort! I will definitely be back to experience Grün in other location!! Ps: you need to bring your own toothbrush and it would be nicer if the resort could provide dish soap in the kitchen for this treehouse.

Very unique place amidst green. If you love nature, quietness, and architecture/design, this is a place worth going! Not sure if they provide breakfast; I didn’t ask for it or book for it. The “tree” houses do have their own kitchen do you can make your own coffee/tea/breakfast if you wish for it. Lovely staff; very friendly and helpful when it came down to my check-in & out. Didn’t ask for any further service so can’t judge the service level any further than that. There are coffee/breakfast places a bit further down, which can be best reached by a scooter or car (using Grab/Gojek). Not a real nice walk since there’s too many scooters/cars and no sidewalks

Since the accomodation is located at the neighbourhood area, you may hear lots of noises (i.e. kids running around and screaming) and there is slighly lesser privacy since the locals may see you swimming around in the private pool. However, personally I do not think it is something that will stop me from coming back.

The accomodation is kinda unique with the name “treehouse” and it has the homely feel to it where we could rest and rejuvenate looking at the paddy fields and greeneries outside of our huge window. Words can’t describe the feelings you felt at that point in time. Besides, the room is perfectly curated and has everything you need.

Loved everything about it!

It was perfect! The view, the people and the location was not too far from the centre of Canggu. 20 minutes by motorbike. The staffs are always so hands on and lovely people in general. I wished I stayed here longer because it was just honestly the perfect place to stay. I felt at peace here. I would highly recommend! I would stay here again when I visit Canggu!

Such an incredible oasis! This was one of the most unique stays I’ve ever had. It truly felt like you were sleeping in nature but with modern amenities (i.e clean bathroom, AC). I was worried that it was going to be dirty since the treehouse is exposed but it was somehow really clean. Highly recommend!

My original tree house room by the entrance was noisy. when I expressed the issues the staff kindly offered me to stay in a Vila nearby that was very quiet. I was very happy with it.
