Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. The place where breakfast was served each morning was charming. In case of any inconvenience, the staff was always ready to resolve it quickly. Although it is located a bit far from Kuta, which limited us a little, the fact that it is in a peaceful, nature-filled area was very positive. It’s a place that feels very homey and welcoming, and you feel like you're part of the Balinese culture.

United KingdomI think a relaxing area would be good, a place to stay except your balcony would be a good addition,where you could maybe also eat, they have a menu but as a solo traveler I didn't want to eat alone in my balcony.
I enjoyed the space, large luminous room with a good view, the personnel is very kind and accommodating and the breakfast was good. I'd recommend staying there for an authentic experience.

Australiabed was a bit creaky, check the registration if renting scooters from them - a lot of hotels offer this service but both of the scooters offered to us were out of registration. They were able to source another for us though within 15 minutes or so. Location is beautiful and really quiet, would definitely recommend a scooter to get around - it's about an hour walk to Ubud centre or an hour north to rice fields etc.
clean rooms, friendly staff, WhatsApp messages to confirm room cleaning time for privacy and convenience. prices for room service meals were good (50-60k idr per meal), fresh water bottles every day. local shops close by for snacks and drinks, a few other restaurants also within 10-15 minute walk. Staff were accommodating for leaving luggage after checkout time. very quiet and secluded. they also have a pool which is nice.

United KingdomThe only complaint we have is the noise from the Cockerells down the road waking you up at 5am. I know this isn't the hotels fault and we did read reviews stating this, but we thought "can't be that bad" "some people will find anything to complain about", but it was bad and did ruin our mornings. Other than that it was a great stay, maybe bring some ear plugs if you decide to stay here

HungaryA fridge in the room would have been nice. And maybe a water dispenser because we had to buy a lot of water in plastic bottles. (You can buy water easily, there is a little shop right opposite of the place. But bad for the environment to use so much plastic)
The room looked really nice, exactly as on the pictures. I loved that it was really light, as one of the walls was a glass wall and it also had a big window. The staff was also really nice. There is a really good restaurant just opposite the hotel, it's a little expensive, but you have to try it at least one. There is also another cheaper restaurant abount 200 m away. I read in other reviews that the roosters are really loud, but we didn't really hear them. We could sleep very well, it was quiet and calm. And you get earplugs in the room too.

ArgentinaWe had an incident with the scooter we rented at the hotel that overshadowed the experience a bit and that's why our score is a 9 instead of a 10. But the staff solved it immediately. If you intend to rent a scooter, I recommend looking for options in the center of Ubud because the ones offered by the hotel don’t have any maintenance.
