United KingdomThe only thing I would say is that the room smelled a little damp and would probably worth looking into.
Let me start by saying that Agustawan, Yannik and the team at this hotel are the most wonderful people we've met so far in Bali. We were given such a warm welcome at the hotel by everyone as soon as we arrived and nothing was too much. The hotel is a little bit out of the centre of Ubud however there is a free shuttle every 2 hours from the hotel and they will happily pick you up as well if you let them know a time. We had a pool access room which no one seemed to be using so it was basically a private pool which was a nice perk! Breakfast was delivered to the room daily (at your requested time) and you ordered this the night before at reception. Additionally they are always happy to organise excursions and drivers for you. We chose to hike Mount Batur which meant we were picked up at 2am and, despite the early hour, we were greeted in reception with a smile and given a breakfast box to have at the top of the mountain. If you are looking for a friendly, wonderful hotel then this is the place for you, thank you so much for our stay.

United KingdomThis is personal preference and may not matter to many people but the bathroom area is partially outside with no doors, I did get used to it after the first day or two and there were no insects/animals coming in so it was all good and I guess it’s all a part of the experience. My husband loved it, I was just scared about creepy crawl’s coming in but like I said it was fine.
The hospitality and the customer service from the staff was amazing, me and my husband really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again if we went to Bali. Cleanliness is a big thing for me and this place was defo kept very clean and maintained. Very happy with this stay, highly recommend!

The service was impeccable, everyone made us feel like we were coming home every time we arrived back to the villa. The room and pool were amazing, this was truly an amazing experience.

United StatesThe private pool, shower and outside area were a perfect place to pass the hot days. The bedroom had AC and a mosquito net in case we needed it. The food was great, and had a large variety of choices. The location is quite and you can even walk around the neighborhood and see some rice patties. The hotel had a convenient shuttle into the city with a schedule, but also could arrange transport for you. The staff were very friendly and helpful in giving us tips and arranging last minute hikes for us. Yannik was very helpful in the front desk. But everyone helped make our vacation great. Thank you!!

Everybody was so nice and the food we were able to order at the restaurant was incredibly delicious and for a very good price. The spa close to the apartment was Devine btw. We had a very good time! Also they offered a shuttle to Ubud city everyday at certain times for free. We loved it here,- would definitely come again !

From the day we arrived til the day we left everything was 10/10. I’ve been to Bali many times but this was by far the best experience. The hotel was just outside of town, so it was nice and quiet. The villa was exactly as pictured, a perfect one bedroom villa with a good sized pool for two people. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind and were so helpful. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! Would recommend ALL of the Indonesian dishes on the menu (we tried almost all of them) and you have the option of eating in the nice restaurant or in your villa which was a nice added bonus. Will definitely stay here again when coming back to Ubud!

Seriously….. my 9th trip to Bali. This cute cosy QUIET place , Purana Boutique Resort was just heavenly. Just perfect, dreamy. Ticked every box. Massive shout out to Gusti & Made. Sweetest , most helpful fellows EVER. Use great laundry service, 4 doors down , Ketut , smile as big as Texas. Great service. My sister first trip , for her 60th. NOW she gets why I love Bali SO much !!

It’s clean and peaceful and they offer shuttle service every 2 hours going to ubud center. The area is very near monkey forest. Just ask the staff to drop you off to coco supermarket and it’s already walking distance 👍

I loved my stay at Purana! From the moment I have arrived I was greeted with smiles and kindness by the staff, the lovely Cynthia gave me a welcome drink and helped me checking in. The location is for me the highlight. It's not central, so you get to sleep with peace and silence, yet, it's only 15 mins from the main part of Ubud, so you get both! Comfortable clean room, huge balcony and everything you need. They also offer a free shuttle every 2 hours which is a bonus! The staff is what makes this place the best... so so kind, funny, and accomodating. Thank you all xx
