Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Netherlands- the wooden floor is uneven in whole room. I think it’s caused by water damage - door wasn’t locked properly when i closed the door from outside. I really need to slam the door to make sure it is locked - sauna is hot on upper part and cold on my feet - jacuzzi not warm enough

This is a great hotel located in the heart of Surabaya. Easy walk to the Tunjungan Plaza for some super shopping. The hotel offers clean, spacious rooms with a great view of the city. The pool deck is always clean and hardly used, which makes for a relaxing swim. There is a wide range of cuisines for breakfast, so something for everyone. The Infinity Sky Bar is a great place in the evening to watch the sun set and grab a cold drink with a great choice of meals. The greatest asset of the Platinum Hotel has got to be the staff. A big thank you to Denis from housekeeping for keeping our room so spotlessly clean. Thank you also to Tiya and Indra for looking after us so well in the restaurant. We would highly recommend staying here if visiting Surabaya.
