The place is gorgeous, pool amazing, staff are super friendly and breakfast super tasty with a lot of food.

You can also rent bikes for the same price as they have all in the island. What we liked the most was the breakfast because it was very big and you could choose which you liked. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Good location. Modernized road from the port all the way to the hotel. You cannot hear music at night and its not far to walk to the port area. Close to one of the best restaurants we ever ate at in Indonesia (Jali). Close there is also a good small little store (does not sell alcohol but it is well priced and has cold drinks). Room was very clean and confortable. Staff was outstanding and always there to help. They arranged bikes directly to the hotel and also snorkeling trip. We spent a good time and would stay again.

Henra and Fabri… the best!!! Very helpful, friendly and kind. Actually everyone in the staff were really nice. Room was super spacious and beautiful, and I fell in love with the shower. Daily cleaning. Very nice pool. Location for us, was just perfect. It was kind in the middle so with the bike you are some rides away from everything. Well, whole Gili T, is like an hour by bike.

Our second time to Flamingo and it was just as perfect as we remembered. The staff are all so lovely, and make you feel right at home. The rooms are really nicely decorated, with a comfy bed and cleaned beautifully everyday. The facilities are great, with a really nice pool and sun lounger area. Delicious breakfast! And a great location close to everything. We love it as we can cycle over to sunset beach, or be in the middle of town in no time at all. Close to restaurants, shops and bars.

SwitzerlandBe aware when walking to the hotel that the roads might be a bit muddy. But you can take a horse and cart for 100k, no problem. I would still choose this hotel again regardless as it was very quiet and well located.
Everything was incredible. Hendra and his team took really good care of us and made us feel at home, the staff were outstanding. The breakfast was very tasty, and I'm glad it was included. The roomm was comfy and my girlfriend and I were able to both take video calls at the same time. The wifi was great most of the time. The only time the wifi was a bit shaky was if there was rain or storm clouds, but this wasn't very common during our short trip.

CanadaEverything was great! Beds were comfortable, room was large with lots of space. Fridge was cold. Free water provided was very nice. Pool was nice to use and provided pool/beach towels as well. Breakfast was great with lots of options, home made meals. If you are reading other reviews of this place stating poor location and muddy roads after it rains you must understand that most of the roads on the island are in poor condition unless you are staying right on the main road by the port. But then if you stay there it will be much more expensive and not as quiet at this location. Plus they were building a new road very close to the Flamingo when we were there and I imagine it would be done now. Hendra is a great host. Also rent a pedal bike. He can arrange it for you and if you have a bike the whole time you stay there it is much easier to get around.

IndiaI came across this boutique property in Gili Trawangan and loved the design, cozy-feel and its interiors (which are unique to each room). Their location is also brilliant, within walking distance to the main strip, and barely a few minutes on a bicycle. However, what completely sold me on my stay here were the reviews regarding the excellent service. While I initially made a booking for 1 night, I ended up staying 7 nights only and only because of the staff. They surpassed all expectations and set the bar so high. Hendra, Febri, Yakub and everyone else are the biggest assets to the Flamingo Hotel and my stay would have been incomplete without all of them. They are always happy to interact with you and always go the extra mile, regardless of what it takes. For example, Febri so kindly helped take my luggage to the harbour as a kind gesture- not many hotels would do that! They would also create the most beautiful towel art- it was literally like artwork. I also had the pleasure of personally interacting with Hendra, Febri and Yakub because they would always be around to assist you and I would sometimes work in their cafe/lobby, so I got to spend time with them and hear their amazing stories, I learnt a lot about local culture and I don’t think I would have had that elsewhere. I will truly miss them, but they are my friends now and I can’t wait to be back. If you’re in Gili T and are looking for a place to stay, you can’t miss out on the Flamingo. It is truly a class apart!
