Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

This place is perfect for an escape from tourism in the main city. The warmth of their staff is incomparable.

IrelandThe only downside was the flies. Also there’s a lot of uphill walking, which was fine for us though
The staff were really good, so helpful and friendly. Yogi brought us for our activities and he was brilliant. The food was fantastic. We really enjoyed all of the activities we did.

AustraliaThe complex obviously has been flash, but is a bit tired now. No aircon was not really a problem although a fan would have been welcome. The mozzie net needs to be a bit bigger to seal the bed. Open air bathroom area had hot water shower but in all, adequate but a bit rough. The car park is 200m or so from resort at corner of T junction on access road. Price for what you get is high.
The jungle setting was nice with good gardens and good lookout from our room. Was a quiet area. A good stop over if travelling to Lovina. Food and staff were good. Beds and room were comfortable and clean and private. Think the rooms would be a lot better than the tents when its hot. Very few mosquitos or other bugs, so the verandah was a pleasant place to sit. Bike and walk in access OK.

IndonesiaThe building where we stayed the deluxe room feels a bit run down, where you can hear creaking whenever you step on some spot. Safety concerns could be an issue eventually if they don't maintain it well. Bugs are definitely everywhere, though I'm a bit eek-ish about bugs but being in a nature like this kinda made me feel more appreciative that. You would require some walking, in which we dont mind at all but those who complained about walking, suck it up! You are in Bali you probably come from a city where you go door to door in a car! Walk a little 30 mins each day it gets you healthy you know :)
This place is located up at the Tabanan mountain, expect a long windy road to get up there. If you come all the way from the airport, I would suggest you stay a night or two at Canggu or Seminyak area first, so it wouldn't feel that long a of a ride. If you go by car, you would expect to do a little walk from the parking area to the lobby area. This is the real Bali! Don't expect a 4 or 5 star resort treatment, the staff would be more than glad to make a few trips and bring your heavy luggages on a bike, kudos to them they're very nice and accommodating the whole 2 nights we spent there. We booked the deluxe room, in which made of wood and built on a slope of the hill. It was perfect for us, enjoying the sound of the nature, the ground was huge you feel like you walk around the forest. Our little dog loved it! Breakfast and dinner were perfect, we loved the pumpkin soup! One night we had the food delivered to our room. At first we checked in, we were worried because we didn't find any AC. However, for summer months (December-February in Bali when the weather is hotter), we ended up sleeping at night with the patio door and windows opened! It had been a while since the last time we slept with fresh air like that, there was no mosquitos either (though we used the mosquito net just in case any bugs getting into bed). Overall, it was an awesome experience for us! Big shout out for Mbo Wayan Sri, she's a good GM and she's local very nice and helpful to us!

NetherlandsThe bathroom was simple. And you have to walk a lot of steps which can be slippery in rainy season.
We loved our stay here! The dome is surrounded by jungle and you have a lot of privacy. It is a little bit moist but not to much. Bathroom is simple but we don’t mind. The people are really really nice and not a lot of tourists compared to South of Bali so we love it that way. It is small and personal. Tip: Cooking class!

AustraliaWe wouldn't change anything about our stay.
The staff were amazing! So friendly and so helpful. We'd highly recommend. The activities they offer were also great and were good value. I've seen other reviews mentioning insects etc, but people have got to keep in mind that it's a jungle! We stayed in a fancy villa elsewhere in Bali after staying at Jungle Camping and ironically there were WAY more insects at the villa than we ever saw at the camping. Also, to the reviewers that mentioned stray dogs, the dogs are not strays they belong to the owners of the accommodation. One of them is a puppy of their long time pet Molly.

AustraliaCleanliness, there was an unpleasant surprise under my bed from precious guests. While bed linen itself was clean, they need to be cleaning the hammock pillows and blankets as were not clean. A mosquito net on the front doors would also be beneficial.
Perfect for a quite peaceful get-away. Absolutely in the middle of no where though. Ensure you take snacks with you if you have not hired a scooter as there is no shops nearby. Location drop of point needs to be better identified on Google maps. Once you get there it’s tranquil. Not for the non able bodied

IrelandThere is nothing bad about the property, other than the obvious that if you stay in a forest accept the fact you will find some spiders, lizards, other bugs, I had no problems with that but maybe some people would.
Amazing unique stay in Bali, in a beautiful mountain side area with very little tourists, we had booked a candle lit dinner for me and my girlfriend who is vegetarian and they prepared a beautiful feast for us with flowers and candles everywhere. I also crashed a bike leaving the premises, the first thing they checked was if I was okay, not one care for their bike, and gave me a lift to the nearby shop, lovely people and we had a lovely night.

United KingdomWe stayed 4 nights at Jungle Camping and enjoyed every minute. Beautiful setting, gardens and jungle views. Glamping domes are very comfortable, large bed and tea/coffe making facilities. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and they cook really good food. The menu is versatile and extensive, it exceeded our expectations. There is a lot to see and places to visit in the area. You can book tours and activities via Jungle Camping. We loved the fact that Jungle Camping is situated just below the village of Padangag and it felt somehow integrated with the village rather then being isolated resort. True gem, you will not find many places like this in Bali.

Excellent experience at a jungle resort managed by the family and local village folks. Great place to unwind in the midst of nature and away from the city. A place to relax and rejuvenate and explore the nature. The staff is very friendly and are ready to address your needs. Great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared from ecologically sourced items.

CanadaThe hammock was in rough shape unlike the photos showed. Also an unpleasant smell during the day which other reviews say is a chicken farm. Location is poor if you're looking to be adventurous. The price they quoted us for a day driver was pricey.

LithuaniaOur room it self had broken main light cover. Rusted table light cover rusted sugar jar cap. Dome frame has rusts here and there. Transparent tent is a bit shady. Dome it self is just put on wooden platform. So no additional protection from wild environment inside. (Suprisingly no bugs ar anything inside dome during the night). View from hammock is way worse than we expected. Trees and bushes ar almost covering all the view.
We stayed in dome house for 1 night. Soft bed with clean sheets everything what it need for staying. Service was nice. Everyone was friendly, kind and welcoming
