Bathroom or sink outside could have a towel railing to dry our bath towels

Location, staff so nice and helpful. All of them. I had arrived with a minor burn and they helped me tape it a few times. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Location was so quiet down a lane but then 4-5 mins after you leave your bedroom you have great restaurants & shops on the street Jalan haloma and my my 2nd favourite favourite Jalan goutama. Love love it. They even provide a small clothes dryer at the side on your room to dry if you hand wash a few item.

There were about 5 steps to get over with your bags before we got to reception

The beds were so comfortable and breakfast had a great choice. Very clean and neat rooms. (Please note that ground floor units have about 10 stairs to get down to but they are next to the pool, which is nice). Quiet area but close to everything

This was my third stay at Amoya Inn. Unfortunately, since my previous stays, a venue nearby has opened which plays loud music at night. I stayed Monday to Friday, the music played from 9pm until 1am on three nights of my stay. Furthermore, this time I stayed on the top floor (previous stays were on the ground floor) and on the roof is some sort of machine. This machine made a suction and banging noise simultaneously. It sometimes lasted for less than 60 seconds, but sometimes lasted for almost 10 minutes. It would sometimes occur once in an hour, sometimes it would occur five plus times an hour. It kept me awake and woke me up. So much noise. For this reason, I shall stay elsewhere when I return to Ubud. On previous trips I’ve had the breakfast at the Inn. It’s not great. You can get a better breakfast for the same price (or less) in the nearby restaurants. Pretty much every bedsheet and bath towel is stained, grey tinged or marked. Since my previous stay, two or three trees have been cut down from the pool area. All of the lounges are in full sun - all day. No umbrellas. Finally, it’s difficult to get a clean pool towel. The supply isn’t refreshed regularly. It was topped up once during my stay.

Great location! Nice staff. This is a home stay rather than an inn.

The Breakfast was not the best and I would not recommend it.

The pool was nice and the location is really good. I would stay here again if I was on a budget and wanted to be close to the main street.

Various steps to drag your luggage through

Is very old, but well kept small temple, I believe. Rooms super comfortable clean. A little bit of work, dragging the luggage because it has a lot of steps here and there. The food was very good. The only thing is, they said my breakfast was included, but at the end, they said it was not so I am not clear about that yet.

Downside of being so quiet was that it was accessed via a narrow foot path and had quite a few steps to carry luggage from street so not really suitable for the mobility impaired The staff, were very pleasant if you saw anyone but they did not speak much English. Not something I should expect but it would have been nice if when there was a lengthy power cut one night someone had explained what was happening or checked on the guests to see if they were ok.

Amoya was very central with a quiet garden and a beautiful deep and cool pool which looked into fields . The room was great with a large fridge and very comfy beds The place had a lot of character and you entered it through a small temple complex.

We had a terrible problem. We sent some clothes to wash, and they came back with different colors and including my All Star shoes (in any case, the laumdry place gave us back money and hopefully my shoes will go back to normal color when I try to clean at home)

Staff is completely friendly, location is amazing, breakfast is delicious

Couldn’t easily contact staff at front desk, either nobody was there and no house phone to reach them if they were there . It was a long walk down to get them. No written instructions in the room for the tricky tv system. Got staff help with it once but then gave up on it after it got in wrong mode again .

Private, fabulous pool with jungle view. Pleasantly serenaded by a Latin singer and band from a distant restaurant. Sunset view from my 3rd floor balcony was stunning. Spacious room with cold drinks in the fridge and snacks. Staff were super helpful when I was having trouble contacting my next lodging.

They weren’t very responsive online on the day we arrived and it was the only way we could communicate with them. After it was fine.

The location is perfect to visit Ubud for a few days, you can walk everywhere. The room was great, with you all that we needed. The fridge in the room was a great plus as well as the bath in the bathroom. Staff were good and accomodating, allowed our late checkout for our convenience, super helpful.

    Nothing to criticise!

Bright, spacious, comfortable rooms with all amenities ie. perfect aircon, large fridge, coffee/tea maker, lovely balcony area, comfortable large beds. The rooms were also remarkably clean as well as all linen and towels, which smelt fresh at all times. Staff very friendly, breakfast tasty. Location ideal in midst of shops, cafes, restos - yet super quiet! Price/quality ratio very reasonable. Much recommend!

There was no potable water available, and I had to buy it in plastic bottles. The monkeys that walked into my room while it was being cleaned was potentially a disaster as they could have taken things. They didn't, so that was good. Staff should have been more careful and aware.

Breakfast was good, and the location was nice and quiet.

Some mold around bathtub area. Bugs, insects nature of rainy season in Ubud. 6 days without TV as monkeys ate thru cable wires. Fixed at end of our stay.

Wonderful breakfast selections. Delicious! Staff always friendly with smiles and always trying to be helpful all the time. Staff always going the extra plus for guests. Nice pool and well maintained. Close to everything — art market, shopping, restaurants & town. Nice firm Asian King bed with size of 2 double beds.
