Fabulous location steps away from the beach. Very clean and the staff were very friendly. Beach beds on the beach were super comfy. Great to have a kitchen area for breakfast if you needed it. Good sized fridge freezer, kettle and microwave with grill. Walking distance to a selection of restaurants. The terrace was large, we opted for a sea view apartment and glad we did. Would definitely return.

Nothing to dislike here.Perhaps could do with a couple of extra saucepans in the kitchen.

Barefoot Contessa is located on a beautiful beach with stunning blue waters and also a beautiful backdrop of mountains. The area is not too commercialised and makes for a very relaxing break. There are a number of Tavernas serving excellent Greek dishes.There is also a well equipped kitchen if you decide to stay in.The accommodation is immaculately clean, and the grounds are well kept. The cocktail bar,Hemingways, is at the end of the property, serving an excellent breakfast and cocktails while you are on the sunbeds on the beach.Big thumbs up to Spiros. You can be sure to be well looked after by him during your stay.

Would have been good to have tea or coffee avaliable. But we appreciate the free wine!!

Amazing place. Very cute village. Great apartment with everything you would need for a short or long stay. Really great price also. Also the wine and bottled water on arrival were a great touch!! We visited off-season, which, if you do, I would recommend either a short stay or getting a car, as there were only a couple of places open nearby.

When arriving there was no one to tell you where to find your keys! I had sent an email in the morning we arrived to say we would be late due to delayed plane journey, I had no response and when we arrived there was nothing to say how we would get in and no email confirming which room we were in or that the key was left in door, tried all the phone numbers on board as well as from previous email i'd recieved to confirm check in lucky there was a resident who seemed to have the number of the lady who looked after the place that he managed to contact who told me what room she had left the key in all phone numbers that I had were going straight to voice mail !!! She said I'd had an email to confirm this from the office I had not. We did Get it sorted but was disappointed with the lack of communication at the end of a long day thank God for your resident who was holidaying too .

A bit limited on storage space

The apartment was spotless & thoroughly cleaned every day. Bathroom very modern compared to most Greek holiday places. The view of the sea from the balcony was great & it is literally a stone's throw from the beach. To fall asleep at night listening to the waves is fantastic. We were in room 203.

We were told by staff that they hadn't recieved payment from Booking.com. for our room. They asked us to pay again. We provided proof, but they insisted they had not received payment and put the onus on us to call our bank. This was nonsense and wasted an hour of our time. It was unprofessional and created a bad atmosphere. Advise to others , take proof of payment .

Dina the housekeeper went over and beyond her duties. All the housekeeping staff were friendly. Great location only steps away from a lovely beach, partly smooth pebbles and soft sand. lots of great places to eat , especially those up the hill.

Beautiful estate few meters away from the seaside, you can really forget your shoes and leave barefoot your room to reach the beach in 1 minute walk. The apartment was clean and equipped with a kitchen. Anyway, if you're not in the mood for cooking, the bar in front of the structure provides greek or continental cuisine, open from breakfast to dinner. Possibility to rent sunbeds and umbrella on the beach just in front of your room.
