It was so clean staff friendly and very central for the playhouse theatre

The trams made our stay a little noisy, however the property provided us with a sleep kit which contained pillow spray, ear plugs and sleep masks which were very helpful.

Brilliant location, beautiful bedrooms and property. The bar was gorgeous and well stocked. Toiletries were of a high quality. On site parking was ideal.

The breakfast was OK but could have had more bowls and plates and spoons for self-service.

Location was good. Room was comfortable and good to have control over radiators and a fan for temperature. Christmas decorations inside and outside were lovely. Staff were all very nice too.

Our room was beautiful, very comfy, everything was super clean, staff was very friendly and welcoming. We also had a chance to leave our suitcase in hotel in the morning even though the check in was later on. When we came to check in they told us our suitcase is already prepared in our room. Every day our room was cleaned. We got a lot of recommendations. What a great service.

Our window wouldn’t shut properly and at night it was below 0c so it was quite cold.

It was a very pretty, clean and perfectly located hotel and all the staff were so lovely. Room had an incredible view too across to Leith and the sea. It was also my boyfriends birthday and they popped some balloons in our room and I thought that was so nice of the staff!

Location very central Lovely boutique hotel. Great facilities. Gordon the manager gave exceptional customer service and helpful when I made a mistake on my booking. He went out of his way to help. Staff lovely. I will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, friendly staff. We were in Edinburgh celebrating my daughter's graduation and the hotel had arranged for us to have balloons, prosecco and chocolates waiting in our room on our arrival :)

It is a lovely hotel, just at the back of the St James’s Quarter, the hotel was very secure as a key card was required for access. The location of this place is perfect for someone who wants to see the sights and be centrally located. Close to the bus stations and tram but walkable to Old Town, and all the major attractions in Edinburgh. Lots of shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The room was very clean and the shower was excellent. Loved the toiletries in the bathroom!

Room was a bit on the small side. Limited choice for breakfast which costs £10. No lift might be a problem for those with walking difficulties.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Lovely rooms, very comfortable beds. Also loved the extras like games, scottish toiletries, earplugs etc. Great place to stay when exploring Edinburgh. Plus it has a lovely bar.
