Beautiful rooms, amazing and helpful staff. You have a pillow menu and can ask for a mini fridge for the room to keep snacks and milk cold. Across the street from the bus station and not far for the train. Beautiful views just an amazing place to stay.

This is an old apartment building and it has a few shortcomings. There was no elevator and this was mentioned in the description. There is no AC; only large fans. This was not explicitly mentioned in the description. The sun heated the room during the day and it was rather warm in the evening on June 3rd, so we have to take a stationary floor fan out of the closet and turn it on. However, there was no available outlet and we had to move a table, disconnect a coffee maker, and connect the fan so both beds can get some wind. It was not too bad overall and I would stay there again with light luggage and not during summer months.

It was a spacious clean room with very high ceiling. Huge bathroom with a bath. Good lighted mirrors. Two (!) towels per person. Excellent beds. Outlets with a foreign adapter (!!!) and separate USB slots. I would say that this room has best amenities from the 4 hotels we stayed during our trip. Very good location. 2 mins from the tram station to the airport and 3 mins from the bus station. Short walk to a few attractions. Friendly staff; who are not always at the desk. I would stay there again with light luggage and not during summer months.

There is absolutely nothing negative at all to say about this hotel

From entering the hotel everything was absolutely amazing,the room was a great size with a very comfortable settee and everything you wanted Coffee machine, Dyson hair dryer, beautiful hand wash, shower gel and moisturiser They even supplied umbrellas which were very much appreciated considering what a wet weekend it was It was very central also 10 out of 10 on all counts

Not a problem for us, but it may be an issue for some that there isn't an elevator to get to your room that will be on either the 1st or 2nd floor.

Loved pretty much everything about this small hotel. The location was within walking distance of everything, friendly staff and nice sized rooms with all the amenities you'd need. Very comfy beds as well.

Bespoke accommodation in an historic building within easy walking distance to the rail station, shopping, dining, and most attractions in Edinburgh. Very friendly staff. The room was beautifully decorated with extra plush comfy beds, a Dyson hairdryer, tower fan provided for use on those warm/stuffy nights, and the most beautifully scented & locally made bathroom products.

The directions to the car park were confusing and made check in more challenging. There was a lot of street noise through the night as the hotel is close to trams and the bus depot, however, ear plugs and a sleep mask were provided.

Excellent location, an easy walk to both the old and new town. The room was clean and had all required amenities. The grab and go breakfast was excellent value.

The room had an adjoining door to the neighbouring bedroom, and I could hear the neighbours talking which was disturbing. The property has been renovated recently so I don't see why they did not block up the inner doorway.

Hotel was a short walk from the main tourist route and shops. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious enough to contain a bath, with over-bath shower. The room had tea and coffee-making facilities. Breakfast was cold buffet but you could request cooked eggs and porage.
